Niall's P.O.V -
A week later after Elle had been put back on the plane to America, Alex's nerves were much better, especially whenever I found her in the closet. My door was literally broken off of the hinges by the time I got there, but they didn't get in the bathroom.
They ran as soon as I was about to grab one of the three guys and strangle him from scaring Alex so bad. She had a panic attack right there in my closet, it stopped once she got in my lap, wrapping our arms around each other.
We've been sleeping in my room instead of at her dorm because the day after Elle left, we slept there and Alex woke up in the middle of the night thrashing and whining quietly, so we left a few moments later, then came to my house.
"It's nine o'clock, wake up. Class starts soon." And by soon I mean thirty minutes.
"No." She puts my pillow over her head, groaning.
"You've got until nine-thirty to get up then I'm leaving," I chuckle and get out of the bed to go get ready.
We leave at nine-twenty and Alex is in sweatpants, the shirt from the carnival, and boots, even though it's seventy degrees out. She put makeup stuff on her face again, then started brushing her tangled hair that keeps shedding in my car like a damn puppy. I look over at her and point to the hair that got on the floor, so she'll pick it up.
"You're about to be late," I say with my lips still pressed against hers, but she shrugs.
"Alex, go to class." I pull back.
"Fine, I get out at-"
"I know what time you get out, bunny." I cut her off and she gets out grabbing her bag.
I go through my phone, deleting useless apps, until I get a text message.
Miranda: Can we talk?
Miranda was my good friend who I had sex with plenty of times, but I started liking Alex, so I immediately dropped Miranda's ass. I had to because I actually like Alex, she isn't just some hook up. Even though Alex and I haven't been dating long, we've given ourselves to each other, emotionally and physically, and I wouldn't change a thing.
Me: Stop texting me.
Miranda: Why are you mad at me? I did nothing wrong.
Me: Stop texting me.
Miranda: It's not my fault that I got attached to you like that, Niall.
Niall: Bye.
Miranda: It's that new girl you like isn't it? She doesn't know about me does she?
Niall: Bye.
Miranda: Don't piss me off, Niall.
I get out of the car, not responding to Miranda's text message, and walk to class. I stop in front of the vending machine to get a granola bar because Alex ate all of mine.
"Hey stranger," I drop my bar on the floor once I see Miranda leaning against the machine.
"When did you move back in town?" I question. She left town a few weeks on vacation, but she came back the week I met Alex. I never noticed her around school or anything.
"I've been going here. My classes are on the other side of the building, but that's not important. Where are you going?" She says walking closer to me wrapping her arms around my hips, trailing them down to my bum, making me jump.
"Away from you." I push her away from me and walk to my class.
"Well, I'll tell Alex you said hi." She says, making me quickly turn around, and I see her wave, walking into the gym where Alex's class is being held. Shit.
I know she's going to tell Alex that we slept together a long time ago, but I still think it'll bother Alex no matter how long ago.
"Come to class, Horan." My professor gestures to me to come inside of the classroom. I sit down on the cotton filled seat and try to wonder what is going on in Alex's class. The class goes by slower and slower, making me anxious and irritated at the clock that's moving like it's broken.
The bell rings dismissing my class, but her class goes on for a few minutes. Since I can't walk into her class, I wait outside of it. I keep glancing at my watch and fiddle with my car keys, waiting impatiently and nervously to hear what Miranda has told my girlfriend.
The door swings open, almost hitting me, but I move back and stand there waiting on Alex to come out. These girls smell like wet dogs from them running outside so much.
I see Alex come out in those spanky shorts, a sports bra, and a shirt in her hand with her backpack on one shoulder. She winks at me while she drinks out of her plastic water bottle and we decease our space, walking closer.
"Put your shirt on," I say lowly to her as she intertwines our hands together.
"I'm hot," Alex wipes the sweat off of her forehead.
"I know." I smirk at her and she nudges me, smiling. "But you need to put a top on. Guys are staring at what's mine."
"Then, show them I'm yours." She squeezes my hand tighter and I can't help it whenever I think about that time I kissed her at her job in front of a guy to show him that Alex is mine.
"Last time I did that you got pissed," I remind her and she stops walking, pulling me to her, right in the sight of the guys that keep staring at her.
"I'm giving you permission this time." She smirks. My vision darts to the guys raking their eyes up and down Alex's body, so I pull Alex by her sweaty torso, her chest now touching mine as I kiss her. One of Alex's arms go around my neck and her other going around my back.
"You're super super sweaty," I mumble against her lips and she shrugs. We pull back from the kiss and my arms are now covered in Alex's disgusting sweat. I squint my eyes at the guys who now look at me, instead of Alex, and I slip my sunglasses on, still holding Alex's hand, and she smiles.
"You smell like a hamster, Alex." I look at her and she scoffs.
"My poor Chippie." She makes an odd sad face and I don't know if she's serious or not.
"I want to go to the pet store now since you brought up my Chippie," She says as we get in the car, looking over at me while I back out of the parking lot.
"You aren't getting anything if we go." I say laughing because I'm dead serious.
"Fine, but I just want to go look at them."
"You can look them up on the internet." I smile, looking at the road.
"Ha. Very funny. Can we go? It's right over there." She says sarcastically, then points at the other road.
"If you put on a shirt, then we can." I negotiate and she slides the top over her head quickly, making me laugh at her excitement.
