Unpredictable

chapter 3

Alex's P.O.V -

He bugs the absolute shit out of me. I chat with Nikki, my roommate once I'm out of the shower until we both fall asleep.

I wake up at 8 in the morning to get ready for my first day of college. A lot has happened this weekend now that I think about it. I throw on leggings and one of Andy's old t-shirts, thankfully it covers my bum, so that I'm more comfortable. It's just plain white long sleeve shirt and says Andys name on the back. I slide on a pair of black combat boots, brushing my hair up into a ponytail and applying make-up to my tired face.

I wait for Andy to get to my dorm to pick me up because our class starts at the same time on Mondays and Fridays. I hear the horn and grab an apple for lunch. I'm still eating my poptart while I'm walking to Andy's car. I get in and greet him.

"You ready for your first day?" He asks me smiling while driving. I am kind of ready but at the same time I'm not, but I mostly am.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit tired." I say finishing my poptart. I tell Andy about my roommate and how she said she thought we were dating. He laughed and said he wanted to see her. We get out of the car and depart.

My first class is Physics. Oh how I hate physics. I don't fully understand it. I don't think I ever will actually. The people in the class are nice and I don't make any friends because I sit in the back. By the time lunch comes, I walk around and grab a taco. The end of the day comes and I am exhausted.

It makes me wish that freshman can bring cars onto campus. I've been walking all over the school all day. I stay in the library and try to get some rest. I figured I could take a quick nap in there since it's quiet. 

"Alex, get up. I've been trying to call your cell, but you didn't answer." I look up and rub my eyes to see Andy.

"Oh, sorry. I fell asleep." I stand up and make it to the car.

"You look exhausted." He says slightly laughing at me while driving. My eyes slowly blink and I fall asleep. Within ten minutes, we're at my dorm. I get out, still sleepy. I went to bed late from talking to Nikki all night.

"Tell your roommate I said hi!" Andy shouts as he drives off. I walk in and set down my keys. My shoes are placed aside and I drag myself to the room. I find Nikki fast asleep on her bed. Neither one of us can stay up like that again. I don't bother taking a shower, I'm way too sleepy. 

My alarm clock goes off at 10 in the morning and my class starts at 11. I get out of bed feeling refreshed. Walking into the bathroom, I wash my face, and brush my teeth. I open my eye and pop my contacts in, ever since Niall had called me a dork, I went to the eye doctor and they gave me contacts. I blink profusely to keep my eyes from watering. My contact in my left eye pops out and swivels down the drain.

"No!" I yell at the sink. I take the other contact out and put my glasses on. This couldn't get any worse. I saved up my money to buy contacts and now they're gone. I'm pissed off, but a few pieces of bacon can cheer me up.

I can't pick you up on days we have different schedules, but one of my mates has the days that we don't have together.

To: Andy

So, you're not picking me up?

From: Andy

No, Niall is.

To: Andy

What the hell? No! I'd rather walk.
