Evangeline

5- "Always."

"This is Sophia and Eleanor." Liam.
"Hi." I said quietly.
"Hi! I'm Sophia." She smiled at me.
"Why don't you go to your room, Evangeline? We need to have some adult talk."

I rolled my eyes and walked up to my room, and I kid you not when I plopped down on my bed my eyes immediately closed and I went to sleep.

When I woke up I quietly walked down stairs when I heared Eleanor speak.

"Oh that poor baby."

I came down the stairs raging with anger. "You told them about me?! You told them how I don't trust anyone and how-"
"Evangeline, look at me. Look at me. Look, I would never hurt you. They need to know."
He whispered into my ear. "I lied to them, I didn't tell them that stuff."
"Thanks."

Liam shook his head at me.

It was a long day and I was tired luckily it was just getting to be nine.

"I'm going to bed." I told Liam.
"Of course."

He followed me up the stairs and plopped on my bed, he kissed me on the forehead and I flinched, again.

"Right, sorry. Have a goodnight."
"Goodnight Liam."

He walked towards the door and I stopped him in his tracks.

"Liam?"
"Yes Ava?"
"Do you care about me?"
"Always."
"Will you stay? Just until I fall asleep?"
"Absolutely."

He sat in the chair by the door and began to hum Little Things. I've been listening to their music... A lot.
