Days later
Emma has been acting very strange these past few days. It's really bugging me that she doesn't trust me enough to tell me what's going on. I know she pretends like its not important but I want her to be ok. I'm planning on asking her to marry me after this case is over but I need to find out what's bugging her, if we can't solve this together then how will we solve issues in the future. That will only hinder our future marriage. I love Emma so much and I want her to trust me. I'll just let her be until she's ready to talk to me about it. In the mean time I'll go and get a warrant so I can prove Peterson's financial status and at least be able to bring him in for questioning. Time passes by and I get a call from Emma. "Hi love." There's no answer. I hear noises in the background. "Emma?" No answer. "Emma you shouldn't be here, what the hell are you doing here?" I hear the voice say. I recognized the voice, it's Peterson. I hear her scream and that's when I hear a gunshot. I gasp. I went to my computer and I tracked her phone. I await the location and I see that she's at the lake. I grabbed the keys and made my way to the lake.
