I know now is not a good time to be going on a trip but it needed to be done. Killian went to get the passports and have everything settled. The kids were at my sisters and I was at home checking on a few things before we head off to Birmingham. That's when I hear the door bell ring. I went up to the door and opened it. "Brianna." She smiles. "Come in." She nods and walks in. We sit on the couch. "What do I owe the pleasure Brianna?" She smiles. "Emma, I had some good news!" I smile. "Rhea isn't dead." I give her a weird look. I was happy to hear that my baby girl is dead but I had to down play it. "What do you mean?" She opens her purse and takes out a case file. "Don't hate me but the body that was inside the casket was a double I made." I gasp. "I just, I spent the last months analyzing every inch of the bones to prove that this wasn't Rhea's body." I gasp and smile. "Oh Brianna you shouldn't have done that." She smiles. "I'm sorry but I couldn't see you guys hurt so I wanted to prove that it wasn't Rhea and I have proof." She takes out pictures. "Remember the hole that Killian said that Rhea has?" I nod. "You see I went and looked at Killian's x rays and compared them to the body and they were different." I gasp. "Killian's hole is a small oval with a slight curve and the one in the body is like a perfect circle with a curve on one side." I gasp. "I went and swabbed the area for more particulates and it was made by a drill after the body was dead, it wasn't as a hereditary thing." I gasp. "I also found the fracture on the wrist was different on the body than on Rhea's x rays." I gasp. I couldn't believe everything that she was saying. "Oh and I found out that the skull was carved to look like Rhea." I gasp. "Yeah since the girl looked like Rhea it wasn't that hard to ID her as Rhea." I shake my head. She shows me a picture of the actual victim and I gasp. She looks like Rhea. "She had died longer than what Jason and I predicted because of all the evidence that was planted." I hug Brianna. "Thank you so much Brianna." She smiles. "I'm sorry I wish I could have found out sooner." I shake my head. "No it's perfect thank you." Her phone goes off and she sighs. "And that's my cue to go." She closed the file and hands it to me. "Thank you again." She nods and I walk her to the door. I close the door and I'm pissed as can be. I mean I knew she was alive all along but I couldn't believe that my mother in law planted a body to take my daughter away from me. I was furious, I don't know why but I felt weird. I had so many emotions and felt like I didn't deserve Rhea. I think it just now hit me, those emotions that I was supposed to feel when I thought Rhea first died. I don't know why I was acting like this. I was always told that I wasn't good enough and maybe my mother in law was right and Rhea is better off over there well if she is even over there. I look at the bar and I take out some whisky. I never drink but I had too. I sit there and drank as much as I could. Each sip was numbing my emotions and killing me a little inside. Time passes by and Killian comes home. He puts the keys on the wall and gives me a weird look. "Emma why are you drinking?" I laugh because I was drunk as can be. He grabs the bottle and gasps. "You almost drank the whole thing!" I smile. "Hmm why yes I did person with gorgeous blue eyes." He sits down and shakes his head. "Emma what's going on you were fine before I left?" I pour some more whisky into my glass and I drink it. "The woman who gave birth to you has gone too far." I say all slurred. He gives me a weird look. I hand him the file and I put my head down on the table and I grabbed the glass. "So our daughter is alive?" I raise my glass and with my other hand I do a thumbs up. I raise my head and he smiles. "I told you love didn't I?" I say barely keeping my head up. He goes and kisses me and backs away. "Oh God Emma you need to stop drinking." I scoff and continue to drink. He takes the glass away from me and I try to grab it back. I scoff as he goes and dumps it. I then grab the bottle and I start to drink. "Emma what the hell?" He says as takes the bottle away. I scoff. "Emma we are supposed to leave in two hours, how can you leave when you're drunk as can be?" I scoff and tried to reach for the bottle and I fall to the floor. "You go and find Rhea." He gives me a weird look. "I'm not a good mother Killian, if Rhea is over there then she deserves that life." His face softens. "Emma please you have been a good mother." I start to cry. He hugs me. "Love what's wrong you're not like this?" I'm crying like crazy. "I was never good enough for your family and I deserve to be hurt and for your mother to take away my daughter." He shakes his head. "Please Emma I need you to be strong, we have to go to Birmingham and get Rhea back." We just stayed there staring into each other's eyes. Silent. That's when I hiccup and he shakes his head and laughs. "You can't handle your alcohol can you?" I laugh and shake my head. "Good thing you don't usually drink." I smile and I feel like I'm going to pass out. "Come on I think you need a nice cold shower and coffee." I smirk. I start to mess with his hair and caress his neck. "Are you going to take a shower with me?" I say with a huge smirk on my face. He laughs. "I would love to my love but not like this." I pout. "You're no fun handsome person." He laughs as he picks me up and takes me upstairs.
