I'm doing it! I'm writing my first ever fan fiction based on CL Stone's Ghost Bird series. Characters and whatnot are hers and I'm doing this purely for entertainment purposes. I have to say, this is definitely different for me. I'm used to writing originals but after being sucked into the world of FF for the Ghost Bird series, I've been hooked and now it's time for me to take a crack at it. I'll try to update regularly (at least once a week). Please don't hesitate to leave comments and tell me what you think. Now for the story!!!!!
Also...I used Google Translate for most of the Greek language in the story. The only language I know is English (and sometimes I have to wonder if I really do know the language) but yeah, all translations are thanks to Google Translate.

**| 3rd Person POV |**
The tiny ten-year-old little girl stood in the field next to the playground. She was smiling from cheek to cheek as she slowly spun around as if she were in a ballroom. Sang's bright green eyes were lit up from the passion within as she sang to herself, ignoring all the children giving her mean looks on the playground. Her shining blonde hair whipped about her face as she spun but she didn't care.
Sang ignored the children because they ignored her. They listened to her sister, Maria, and ever since, has avoided her at school and on the playground. She was okay with that though. As long as Sang has Silas, she'll be okay.
Soft words danced on the air, floating away as Sang continued to sing and wait for her best friend to show up.
κι αν μάθεις να τον τραγουδάς γίνεσαι θεός!(Of love and fire this song
for the love of a goddess with a mortal man
A song from the heart coming warm
into the night's echo
Love - love - love me and come and be god
Love - love, they say, madness that becomes light
Onto the highest clouds does she sit bowed
tries to open her wings but they are cut
A song begins again to tell you
She begs to see him
Love - love - love me and come and be god
Love - love, they say, madness that becomes light
Of love and fire this song same the tune
and if you learn how to sing it you become a god!)Someone clapped and Sang stopped spinning, her head whirling from all the circles she did. She turned to the noise in surprise and smiled up at the big kid who stood a few feet away with a twinkle in his dark eyes. The scent of the ocean washed over her and she felt her body relax.
Silas had the power to make her feel safe, as if the pain her little body felt was nothing.
"What are you doing, Aggele mou?" he said in English. He's been teaching her English for the last few months and Sang was a good student, picking up on the language quickly.
She grinned up at him. He was a fastly growing boy, already taller by half a head than all the other boys in their grade. His presence helped to keep the bullies away, one of the many reasons they became good friends.
