Wow, the responses I got for the snapshot were amazing! Thank you all for your support and feedback. It means a lot to me. Also, thank you for your patience. NaNoWriMo may or may not be kicking my butt but I'm still proud of getting this chapter out! It was a little hard to write. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

**| Sang's POV |**
Soon after breakfast, Mr. Blackbourne showed up and I couldn't keep the blush off my face. His lips turned up into a small smile when he saw my expression and I knew where both of our thoughts were.
"Are you ready to go to your house? You can pick up some things and then tonight you are staying at my home."
I nearly choked on the drink I just took. "Your house?" I squeaked.
He nodded. "Yes. It'll give the boys time to make the appropriate changes here. My house is the second best place for you right now."
I nodded and got up. I quickly changed into some clothes Gabriel made sure I had and then grabbed my bag, meeting Mr. Blackbourne at the front door.
Gabriel and Victor were there to give me hugs.
"Tonight," Gabriel said. "You need a fucking break from everything so I'm taking you out tonight."
I blushed at his words and nodded.
"Ready?" Mr. Blackbourne asked.
"Yes," I replied and followed him out to his dark grey BMW, already on and waiting for us.
The attendant went to open my door for me but after looking behind me, he shrunk away. Mr. Blackbourne stepped up beside me and opened it instead, giving me a millimeter smile, his grey eyes soft.
"Thank you," I whispered, getting in. He closed the door for me and was settling in before I had a chance of buckling myself in.
Mr. Blackbourne pulled out of Victor's residence, the radio playing softly in the background.
I took in his profile, taking note of the grey suite he was wearing, the only splash of color on his person thanks to his maroon tie, the way his glasses sat on his nose, the way his long slender fingers curled around the steering wheel.
Mr. Blackbourne glanced over at me a couple of times and I knew he wanted to ask something. It was in the way he was looking at me, as if he wished he could just throw the question away and pretend it never existed but it wasn't who he was.
Mr. Blackbourne asked the hard questions.
"What?" I finally asked.
He licked his lips, his grip tightening on the steering wheel.
"Do you want to go see your stepmother?" he finally asked.
"I don't know where she is," I admitted."
"I do. We found out after we learned she was sent to the hospital. If you want, we can go there before going to my home. But only if you want to."
I nodded. "I do."
He nodded and I was glad he didn't ask me why. I wasn't sure I knew the answer to that. I just knew I needed to see her. I need to make sure she was okay. She wasn't a good person but she did raise me and the least I could do was make sure she was doing okay at the hospital.
The drive was quiet and it didn't take me long to collect extra clothes and whatever else I thought I would need. Music was loud in Maria's room so I knew she was home.
