So to congratulate me being done dealing with the chaos of back to school life and to give those who are going back some entertainment, here is another update. As always please let me know what you think! Enjoy and Happy Labor Day!!!

**| Sang's POV |**
I spent Monday morning in my room, reading, and staying out of my stepmother's way. When the afternoon came, I became restless. Dad was running late, which shouldn't surprise me, but still. By the time I get there, all the classes I wanted were going to be filled. I sighed and tried to focus on my book but thoughts kept wandering off to yesterday. So much happened in such a short amount of time. Meeting Silas. The mall. The stranger. Greg. The bruising.
My thoughts were interrupted by a sharp knock on my door.
"Dad's here. Let's go," Maria grumped in my doorway before walking away. I quickly tucked my book away and then ran down the stairs and out the door. Dad was waiting in his car for us. Maria was already taking the front seat. I climbed into the back and buckled my seatbelt as Dad backed out and we headed towards the school.
We were already running late because of his job and I really did hope Victor and everyone else didn't wait for us.
No one in the car bothered to talk. Dad had the radio on low, soft music floating around in the car. Maria had her feet propped up on the dashboard as she stared out the window. I settled into my seat behind Dad and stared out my own window.
We turned onto another road. Dad wasn't driving very fast so it wasn't a surprise when a black sedan made an attempt to pass us. I glanced through the sedan's passenger window and spotted a figure in dark clothing with the hoodie pulled up over the head. I couldn't even tell if they were female or male though I was leaning towards male due to the bulky size.
The figure's head turned and all I could see was the familiar white mask.
My heart stopped in my chest.
"Dad!" I croaked, the fear nearly stealing my voice away.
Dad's head swiveled to look at the car and he swore under his breath as he slowed down. The other car went slightly ahead for a moment before slowing down too.
Dad continued to swear but I couldn't hear any of it as my heart pounded against my chest in a dangerous beat. Memories from Greece flashed through my mind and I tried to pushed them to the side, trying to focus on the now.
"Ο μπαμπάς σου θα έρθει για σας . (Your dad will come for you,)" he said, his voice robotic.
I looked up at the white mask. "Δεν με νοιάζει . Αυτός δεν θα έρθει για μένα . (He doesn't care. He won't come for me.)"
The man snorted. "Ω , θα το κάνει. Δεν δίνετε στον εαυτό σας αρκετή πίστωση . (Oh, he will. You don't give yourself enough credit.)"
"Maria, seatbelt," Dad snapped out, drawing my attention back to reality. He tried speeding up but the car just stayed right next to us. Maria's legs went down as she grabbed her seatbelt.
"What's going on?" she asked and the fear was the first time I heard any real emotion from her other than disgust and boredom.
Dad ignored her question, making a turn but the car made the turn too, staying right next to us. I kept looking around but there weren't any cars around. Of all the times to be on a deserted road, why now?
