If you haven't yet, don't forget to go back and read my A/N. It's good news! It seems WP is done being picky and allowing you to comment again. A couple of you were nice and sent me messages with your thoughts yesterday and thank you for that! You're all amazing. This chapter is a little emotional if I did my job correctly. I hope so. But enjoy and let me know what you think!!
I am now officially over 100k words...this is the longest story I've ever written and I've written a few.

**| Sang's POV |**
Dr. Sean sat me down at an empty table off to the side and away from everyone. He flashed me a smile before going up to the food bar and ordering. It only took him a couple of minutes to come back with an entire apple pie, still hot as if it just came out of the oven.
"How?" I asked, eyeing the massive thing.
"Oh, they know, sweetie. I've trained them to have a Sean radar so they know when I'm in the vicinity, to be ready to hand their pie of the day over. Today just so happens to be apple pie, my favorite. Tomorrow is cherry pie and on Monday, banana cream pie. I have their pie schedule down pat."
I giggled at that thought. The cooks working away and then suddenly an alarm going off, letting them know Dr. Sean was on his way for pie.
Dr. Sean handed me a fork and placed the pie between us and then he dug right in. I watched as he lifted the first bite to his mouth, took a deep breath, taking in the sweet scent, and then biting into apple goodness.
I never thought about pie before but he made pie look good.
I took a bite and nearly melted. I read about hospital food being gross but nothing was gross about this.
"Good, right?" Dr. Sean said and I nodded taking another bite.
After eating what would be the equivalent of two slices, I leaned back in my chair, full.
Dr. Sean took another bite before setting his fork down and also leaning back, watching me with a somber expression. When a few minutes passed by, I finally cracked. I couldn't take him looking at me like that any longer. It was like he was feeling something in my place, as if he were aware of something I wasn't and it was hurting him deeply.
"What's wrong?" I asked and he blinked, drawn out of his thoughts.
He tilted his head to the side, his eyes looking for something in my face. "Sang, what is family to you?"
"What do you mean?"
He sighed and leaned forward, still focused on my face. I shifted in my seat, growing exponentially uncomfortable with so much of his intense focus on me.
"Family. When I say family, what comes to mind?"
I bit down on my lip and put my hands on my lap so that Dr. Sean couldn't see them shaking. Family? I didn't know how to answer him and I didn't know what the right answer would be. I never even really thought about it. I just spent my days trying to stay safe.
"Don't over think it. Tell me what comes to mind," Dr. Sean said, his voice softening as if he knew how hard this questions was.
Shouldn't this be an easy answer?
Family is parents who love you.
You're nothing! Nothing to me! You're just a tramp's daughter.
Family is a sister who wants to play with you.
Don't ever come near me!
Family is support.
