Thank you for all your wonderful comments! It was a treat to read them all and get an idea where everyone's thoughts are going. Here is the next chapter and as always, please comment and let me know what you think! I hope I did Silas justice on his POV.

**| Silas's POV |**
"Not anymore," Aggele mou said and then turned around and walked away.
She just walked away, without looking back. Walked away from me as if I were a complete stranger.
I stared after her, still in shock and disbelief. I wanted to reach out to her and touch her, draw her tiny body into my arms and never let her go, but all I could do was gape after her.
Sang had not been who I was expecting when I answered the door, not even close. When my eyes met with the brightest green eyes I've only ever saw in one person, the ground beneath my feet shook. Or maybe it was just me. She was still so small. Her beautiful blonde hair was pulled back in a clip, strands falling around her delicate face. When she looked up at me and her eyes widened, I knew exactly who had stood before me.
But when Kota asked if we already knew each other, she was so quick to say no and walk away.
My heart grew dangerously heavy. I messed up so badly with her and wasn't so sure on how to fix it.
"What was that about?" Victor asked.
I couldn't say anything. There were no words to describe how I was feeling in this moment.
"Silas?" Kota tried to get my attention but it was impossible. I still stared at the spot where I last saw her.
"Dude," someone smacked my shoulder and I blinked, looking over at Nathan. "What was that about?"
I swallowed and opened my mouth but nothing could come out. All words fled me. Not even my native language could help me right now.
"Silas," Kota said in his stern voice, demanding an answer.
I forced out a breath of air and looked at my team, my family.
"She was someone precious to me when I lived in Greece."
Kota raised an eyebrow and Victor looked confused.
"Shouldn't it be a good thing to see you then. Why did she take off like you were a complete stranger?" Victor asked.
"I didn't tell her. We used to meet up at least once a week at a nearby playground. She didn't have other friends and the kids all bullied her. I think she mentioned her sister spreading rumors about her that kept them all away. Anyways, one day I went there and she was being teased. I stopped it and we became friends. I played with her for a little over a year."
"Then North brought you here."
I nodded. "But I didn't tell her."
Nathan's eyes widened. "Are you telling me that you were her only friend, best friend, for a year and when you moved, you didn't bother to let her know."
I looked down at the ground as shame washed over me. "I was scared. I didn't want to leave her but she has a family and I couldn't take her from them, even if it were possible, and there was no way of taking them all. I had to leave her. North needed me more and I wanted out of Greece and away from all those memories. I was going insane and I just didn't know how to tell her I was leaving and then next thing I know, I'm on a plane coming here."
Kota was frowning deeply, thinking, but he didn't say anything.
"We need to get to the mall before we miss our appointment," Victor said and walked towards his car. We followed behind.
