**| Sang's POV |**

I was too lost in my thoughts to pay attention to the rest of the day. I knew I was worrying the boys but I couldn't pull myself out of the darkness that was overwhelming me. I was drowning in them. Lost.

Seeing Victor troubled brought up old fears. And the nightmares I've been having recently weren't helping.

The boys were there.

Here. They were here in front of me.

I could reach out and touch them if I were brave enough. But I wasn't. And it made it harder. I needed an assurance I wasn't willing to ask them for.

I kept seeing their backs to me as I screamed for help. I kept watching them walk away from me. Ignoring me. Disappearing. Those were my current nightmares.

And now I had to wonder. If they knew everything, the full story, would they decide I wasn't worth the hassle and walk away?

There was so much I didn't tell them, couldn't tell them, and I knew if they found out, they would leave. I was too much trouble. I would put them in danger.

"Hello? Sang, are you with us?" A hand flashed passed my face and I flinched back into my seat, drawing in a breath as the back of the chair hit my wounds.

I blinked a few times and looked around, confused.

Where was I?

"Sang, are you okay?" Victor asked. He was sitting next to me. Dr. Green was standing in front of me looking down at me with worry.

Japanese.

I was in Japanese class.

"Welcome back, Sang. Glad you could join us," Dr. Green said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. His eyes roamed over my body before looking over at Victor.

"Sorry, Dr. Green," I whispered, my cheeks flushed with embarrassment. How was I so out of it, I didn't even realize I was in the middle of Japanese class with Dr. Green.

Dr. Green gave me a flirty smile. "I don't mind you day dreaming, as long as it's about me." He winked and went back to the front of the room. Some of the girls sighed, probably doing just that. I felt eyes on me and looked around. A few of the girls were glaring at me and some of the boys were smiling, a couple of them giving me winks. I stared down at my hands, wishing I could just go bury my head in the sand somewhere and disappear.

I can't believe I zoned out like that.

"Princess, are you okay?" Victor asked.

I nodded and tried to focus on what Dr. Green was saying.

"Now class, get into pairs and put together a list of what you know about Japan. Write down every little thing you know. Hopefully, by the end of class, you'll realize that Japanese people eat more than just rice and sushi."

Some of the students laughed before we paired off.

Victor was my partner and we quickly got to work, writing what we knew. Victor seemed to know a lot while I only knew a handful of things.

The bell rang and students handed in their sheets as they walked out the door.

"Sang, can you stay for a moment?"
