**| Sang's POV |**

I'm not sure when I was moved. I just knew I blinked and then found myself in a bed, next to a very large person sitting on the mattress by my head.

The only reason I didn't panic was because everything was still dizzy and the scent of the ocean told me what I wanted to know. Silas was sitting next to me.

"Silas?" I whispered.

"Sang," he said, his Greek accent thicker than normal. I couldn't make out his features in the darkness but I could feel the tension coming off his body.

"I have a concussion." I winced at the slurred words but he managed to figure out what I said.

"I know."

"I hate concussions. I hate it when everything spins around."

His hand touched my hair and his thick fingers ran through the strands. "Go back to sleep, Sang."

I closed my eyes and dozed back off in moments, enjoying the feel of Silas's fingers in my hair. The confusion I felt when it came to Silas lessened a little, though not completely. He was here and for now, that was exactly what I needed.

When I woke up again, it was early morning, the sun barely up in the sky. I closed my eyes and took stock of my body.

Ribs still hurt, check. The world still tilting, check. Head still pounding, check.

I heard the door open and felt the air shift. I kept still as I waited for the person to say or do something. I heard as they came closer and a sweet scent tickled my nose.

Gabriel.

What I learned about Gabriel was that his scent was always changing, but it was always sweet. The first time, he smelled of a lively citrus scent of spices, woods, amber and musk. The next time, it was a citrus on an ocean breeze, and today it was a mixture of lavender and jasmine. They were always sweet, but not sickly sweet. Just right.

"About time you're awake," he said when he noticed I was watching him. "Let me wash your hair before we go downstairs and allow those shitheads to see you. It's a mess," he mumbled the last couple words.

I just blinked up at him, not responding. He tilted his head to the side. "Sang, are you okay?"

I nodded into the pillow. I licked up my lips and looked up at Gabriel.

"Was I dreaming last night?"

"If you mean did you dream about getting your ass kicked and almost kidnapped last night, then no. It happened."

I shook my head. "No, not that part. I meant with Kota. Did he really save me? I didn't imagine it, right?"

Gabriel blinked a couple of times before he realized something. "Fucking hell, Trouble." He pulled at a strand of his blond locks.

"Trouble?"

"Yes, Trouble. You're Trouble. You're like a water dowser but instead of finding water, you find trouble." He waved his hands as if dismissing his words. "It doesn't matter. What matters is that yes, Kota saved you last night. You didn't dream up all that shit, it happened. And it'll happen again when you find trouble next time. And it will continue to happen every single time you're in trouble. Get fucking used to it." He blew out a breath.
