You're Different (Chapter 16)

{Gaby's P.O.V}

I walked into my room to see Brian sitting on my bed, surrounded by my books. "Hey," I smiled. "Hey," he said, not taking his eyes off my book. I didn't want to disturb him so I took my phone & went back out to the balcony.

The minute I stepped onto the bacony, my phone started ringing. It was Emily. "Hello?" I answered.

"Heeeyyyy! Watcha doin?"

"painting a picture of Little Mix,"

"Funny. What are you actually doing?"

"Just sitting on the balcony,"

"Oh. Cool. So I have some news for you,"

"Spill,"

"Bel & I are coming over for Christmas!"

"Oh. Cool,"

"You don't sound excited,"

"No, I am. Just tired,"

"What did you do today?"

"Uhhhmmmm....just some stuff,"

"Nevermind. I'll find out when we get there. Bye,"

"Bye,"

I sighed & slouched into the chair. "What's wrong?" Brian asked while standing near the glass door. "Oh. It's nothing," I smiled. "Oh, C'mon. We both know your lying," he smiled as he sat down," now spill,"

I just let out a giggled when he said "spill," "My sisters are coming over Christmas. That's all," I smiled. "Oh," he replied.

"Ok. Now go get some rest. Tommorrow's gonna be a long day," I laughed. "Why?" he asked. "Well, the three of us are going out tommorrow which means that we're going shopping & girls are the shopping masters so you're gonna be really tired," I replied.

"Oh really? Try me," he smirked. "We'll see tommorrow," I smiled. We went back into my room & i went to brush my teeth.

While Brian was brushing his teeth, I changed into some simple PJs. I wore long, blue floral pants & a simple pink top.

He came out & we sat on the bed with the pillows propped up & we leaned against the headboard. We switched on the TV & Ridiculousness was on. "I love this show!" I squealed. "Me too," he chuckled.

After a couple of minutes, he yawned & put his arm around me. Wow! Now that's original!

I just kept quiet & watched TV. "Alright. It's 11:30. Let's go to sleep," Brian said as he switched off the TV. "But I'm not tired," I whined. "Shopping. Tommorrow. You don't want to be tired, do you?" he smiled. "Fine," I gave in.

He put the pillows down & lied down. He lied down behind me & slung his arm around my waist & pulled me closer to his chest. "Goodnight," he whispered in my ear & at that moment, he kissed my cheek.

My cheeks turned red but I don't think he noticed. I closed my eyes, held my plush toy close to my chest & closed my eyes.
