Ok so star wars rebels is set to 5 years before a new hope, right? Well, if season 1 + 2 is 5 years before, than season 3 is 3 years before a new hope. Ezra is 15 in season 1 and in season 2 (I think) and now he is 17 in season 3, so 5-2=3 (The 2 for Ezra being 2 years older) Meaning 2 years have gone by. I could be wrong but I thought it was nice to place it out there.
So in conclusion, SWR season 3 is 3 years before a new hope. 😊
