Is there really someone you can share anything with
Who you can do something for without thinking a bit?
Is there a person who'd go out of their way
To keep you in line with what you do and say?
Accepts your habits, good and bad
'Cause imperfections and all, with you they're glad?
Wouldn't force your change, not one thing
So you'll eventually discover your own wing?We all have someone who we think we can depend on
Who we can share our sorrows and fun.
But do we really truly trust someone
Even though we can never fully know someone? If a time our sorrow comes from their laughter
Would we ever respect them after?
Would they be as special as before
Or would they be another chore?
How can we truly know someone
Or fully give our heart to them?We don't know if someday on
It'll be our biggest mistake.
We may think we're better than that
That we won't do that to others.
But no matter how we try to convince ourselves
That may not be true.
After all, it's only after we've fully trust
That we start to see the truth.~
Trust is such a valuable thing, isn't it? The thing about it is that we give it based on experience and what we observe. We could never really know how trustworthy someone is since we could never read their minds. It's just a risk that has to be taken.
What are your thoughts on trust? Do you give your trust easily or is it difficult for anyone to gain it? Do you trust yourself?
Until next time,
Ade Alethra
