Is love a door
That can be opened
And will never lock?Is love a term
That describes those
Who's crazy about another?Is love a sickness
That can't be treated
One everyone must endure? Is love a chore
An annoying must-do
To keep the balance of it all?Is love a hobby
To be done often
With different tokens each time?Is love a miracle
A new opportunity
That opens a whole new life?I imagine it torturous
Everchanging and unnecessary
An obstacle in my way.For those who have love
Or felt it before
A question from an inexperienced. Why is love how it is?
What does it mean to you?
And most importantly, what is love?~
Ah, yes. My thoughts on (romantic) love then: 'It must be avoided at all cost! It'll only get in my way!'
Now? It's still somewhat similar, yes. Only with slight differences.
But seriously though, to those of you who have been in the romantic kind of relationship, what is love for you and what does it feel like? Though I don't think I'll be finding myself in that kind of relationship this year or next year or the year after or... anytime soon, I am rather curious about what it's like, especially since that mystery person decided to invaded my already crowded mind space. (Like seriously? Who are you and what are you doing in there? Get out!)
Also, don't you find it (ironic? Or would strange be a better word?) that when someone says 'love' or 'relationship', the first thing that seems to come to most people's minds are the romantic or sexual kinds?
Until next time,
Ade Alethra
