The colour of purity
The birth of opportunity
A promise to hold unity
To keep the innocence
White
The colour of emptiness
The vast expanse of nothingness
A void of endless loneliness
Everything hidden in light
White
The colour of insanity
Able to blur out reality
Consequences of varying severity
Witnesses of distortion
White
The colour of memory
Drenched in pure ecstasy
Dissolved in rich misery
To form character cores
White
The colour of sincerity
A strong, firm loyalty
The presence of protection and care
White
The colour of ice
The mark of the Winter Solstice
A drink from Death's chalice
A cold grip pulls to the light
White
The colour's mother
The presence of all that's colour
The birth, beginning, light devours
Emotions summed up in one

I think it was after a particular conversation that I became somewhat fascinated by the meanings behind colours and how different and numerous their meanings can be. Then I decided that I should make some poems based on different colours and I did some research on them too. White is the only colour poem I have written thus far. There is one for blue but that one was a collaboration so it will not be included in this book.
