Sweaty palms
Burning chest
Spinning worlds
No regretForever forward
Maybe lost
Go in reverse
To find what I wantHaunting fears
Creeping doubts
Discouragement
Won't change muchRun forward
Bursting free
Clawing the cage
That traps the beastIgnore the pain
Think of fame
Think of where
The passion laysThe heart won't stop
It won't give up
You can't help
What you wantWilder than wild
Freer than free
Rib-cages aren't enough
The creature is freeImpossible?
I think not
I'm an idiot?
The biggest oneWant my silence?
I will scream
Till my heart gets what it wants
And be set free~
I wrote this one based on a quote. If I remember correctly, it went something like 'Our hearts are wild, that's why our ribs are cages.'
Sometimes we can't help but love the things we love and want the things we want. Sometimes we can't help the passions, desires and dreams we want to follow. Sometimes we can't help but feel the way we feel towards certain things and people. We can either choose to embrace it or ignore it for as long as we can but, some things can't be simply ignored.
Any thoughts to share?
Until next time,
Ade Alethra
