No goal
No aim
No directionI left what I knew
To pursue the uncertain
I had nothing with meI met you all
Who gave me direction
And the person I wasBut I'm still fearful
Just a bit
That something may go wrongIt's like a horrible dream
To think how it'd be
If I hadn't met you allIt's so hurtful to see
When you all are hurting
Yet it seems like I can do nothingIt hurts to see
The pain that y'all
Seem to house withinIt hurts much more
To see the destruction
You face than when it's meYou make me begin
You gave so much for me
You really helped to raise meYou helped to mould me
And shape me into
The person I could beYou helped me grow
You showed me how
To use my wings to flyI'm forever grateful
To what you've done
I'm glad I began with you~
There are so many people, both of whom the knowledge of existence is a mutual understanding and those who do not know of my existence as an individual person, who has greatly inspired and helped me to grow into the person I am today.
They have helped me grow as an individual and helped with certain aspects of my personality. They have helped me realize some of the aspirations I now have for myself and develop certain talents that I probably may not have realized if the circumstance had been different.
I can think of a number of minuscule yet highly plausible changes that could've easily swerved the entire direction of my life.
I sometimes wonder 'what if?' but I know I wouldn't have it any other way. Sure, there are a great many things that I know that I could improve upon as well as some characteristics that I either have an on-again-off-again love for or just wished it wasn't there at all but I wouldn't have it any other way.
No matter how slight, I know some of those changes would've caused a huge difference to the life I lead now. I look up to and love some of these people so much.
They've either become a very important factor in my life or played an important role in my development. With the many other ways it could've been from the ones I know for certain to the ones I can't even begin to think about, I'm glad it began with you.
Is there anyone in particular you can think of that means the world and more to you or played a key part in some aspect of your life?
Until next time,
Ade Alethra
