I am a simple person
Or so I seem
As I hide behind
My mentality.I'm a boring person
From what you see
You haven't even gotten
A taste of me.You'll never understand
What I see
Some things I experience
Remain unseen. You'll think I make big deals
Out of nonsensical scenes
But those rather small things
Mean something to me.It's in those things
That someone can see
I can be a different person
With a different personality. But not everyone understands
They may forever judge
And I'll allow them to do just that
It's their loss, not mine. But in the moment sent my way
Whether they be awful or good
It all contributes
To what makes me be me.~
Persons are often quick to judge based on what they see but, you know what they say: don't judge someone based on the chapter you walked in (or something along those lines. Correct me if I'm wrong.)
People can choose to be selectively open (as I often say I am). Aspects of a person's personality may be well known by a certain group of individuals and completely hidden from light to others. Then there are the thoughts running through one's mind that can make a situation more exciting, fun, depressing etc. for any individual compared to how it looks from the surface.
So, are you like me and Katyma who seem to be completely boring people with overly boring lives at first glance? (Though I must say Katyma's life is definitely more exciting than mine.) Does your mind and imagination make up for it? Do you think that, despite not having the most exciting life, you aren't as often bored as people who do?
Until next time,
Ade Alethra
