Hey mama
Remember me?
Remember the times you shared with me?Hey mama
You should know
You really are incredibleHey mama
Did you know?
You're really funny without making a jokeHey mama
I'd like to say thanks
For fighting for me when you had a chanceHey mama
You know I'm proud
That you are the one I can call mammyHey mama
You know it's great
That you're a part of my lifeHey mama
You know what?
I can't wait for the day to comeThe day I can treat you
The day I can be me
And make you even prouder than I would feel~
I would love to grow up into a person that I want to be and a person that could make my parents proud.
I want to be able to grow up and know that I can confidently walk up to them and know that I am satisfied with wherever I am in life, no matter how stressful it may become. I want to know that they won't be disappointed with what I've decided to do and become. I want to know that I can give back to them and take care of them just as they have done me.
I'm not necessarily the kind of person to usually show what I'm thinking or the kind of person that has an easy time speaking and interacting so it isn't always seen just how much I appreciate certain things and people but I hope that I'll be able to show it through what I accomplish and what I become.
Do you think you're someone that others would be proud of? Would you like to somehow repay those who have invested in you in the future?
Until next time,
Ade Alethra
