When I first met you
It's like I had known you
From a thousand years beforeWe had a strong bond
That was like no other
Inseparable from since day oneYou and me
Weren't a possibility
We aren't just something by chanceWe're a distinct formula
Each others' euphoria
The universe is in our handsWhatever the world
Whenever the time
Probably past or the futureWe were no strangers
We knew each other
Destiny keeps pulling throughWe complete each other
We fit together
It's a part of our DNAWe're both different
But we're still the same
We have what most can't gainDon't be scared
Don't be afraid
You've nothing to worry aboutIf we have each other
The world is our canvas
For us to build as one.~
I don't know if it's just me but I always feel a bit proud of myself when I remember that it means and know how to pronounce 'deoxyribonucleic acid'...
Anyway, do you believe in soulmates? I do believe in it to some extent and I don't believe it to mean just lovers (as I've often seen it and read it to be).
There are some people you might just click with. You have a different kind of relationship than the others around you. You might not necessarily understand why but it's just the way it is. Maybe, it might almost be as though you are both one person with two separate bodies sometimes.
Is there anyone like that in your life?
Until next time,
Ade Alethra
