Was it that you were scared?
Scared of what you saw?
Knew that I'd be a lunatic on the beat
So you tried to knock me out?Did you think I was weak?
Did you think I'd just give up?
You're going to have to try a lot harder
To try to get me to stopI guess you thought you'd won
But then I came on the scene
You thought you'd won? Don't make me laugh
You could never tie me downLook at where am I
Look at where I've gone
Wait, can you even see me
From where I left you off?I'm your senior, your former junior
Look how far I've made it
Are you jealous or are you scared
Since I rose above the charts? You know I'm really sorry
No really I am
But more sorry for myself
Having to put up with the crap you spewIt's almost comical
You blame me for your misery
My hard work pushed you
Into the grave you dug yourselfI don't want to hear you
And your stupid excuses
Get on my level
If you want to mess with meI'm legendary
I contribute in my field
The accomplishment I've made
Will go down in historySo please
Before you make a fool of yourself
Why not change your job to something else
You've got a talent in looking sillySo please
Before you try to insult me
I don't give a damn 'bout you
I don't need
Any validation from you~
What can I say about this...?
I'll just leave you with a few words..
I don't know about you all but there's this sensation of accomplishment when you achieve something after being told you'd fail. There's also this big pride when you surpass someone in their field that they only seem to talk down on you about.
I'm not saying to be an annoying jerk or anything but when you reach somewhere, especially if it's somewhere where you want to be, don't be afraid to give yourself a little pat on your back and a little celebration of sorts.
If you want to flaunt it a bit, by all means, feel good about yourself. You would've deserved it.
If anyone wants to make you feel that your successes are not meant to be celebrated or acknowledges, just throw a #unbothered and do it anyway.
Until next time,
Ade Alethra
