"There you are, bitch." Napatingin ako sa pintuan at nakita si Lessy, matalim ang tingin na binibigay niya sa akin. "Papahirapan mo pa ako?!" Galit na sigaw niya, umalingawngaw ang boses niya sa kwarto.

I looked around me, searching for any escape.

"Don't you move." Narinig ko ang pagkasa ng baril niya, "one wrong move can mean the death of your twins." She laughed.

Humigpit ang hawak ko sa telepono, eight minutes more before my mafia arrives, I just have to hang in there. I discreetly caressed my baby bump.

Hang in there, Levi and Levi... I promise I'll keep you two safe. I promise.

Sa tuwing titignan ko si Lessy ay hindi ko maiwasang masayangan sa ilang taon na pagsasama namin, I really don't wanna accept this reality but I have to, I must. Ayokong magpadala sa emosyon ko.

"Natameme ka, bes?" Humalakhak si Lessy dahilan upang bumalik ako sa huwisyo, naglakad siya palapit sa akin habang hawak-hawak ang baril niya, "do you want to have an open forum with me?" She grinned. Tinignan niya ang kanyang orasan, "Laferro mafia will be here any minute."

And so is my mafia, bitch.

If this means I can buy time, fine. I will play her games. "You start with your open forum." Sagot ko naman sa kanya.

"To be honest, I hated you the moment we met." Kumuyom ang kamao ni Lessy, "but I have to force myself to like you because I'll be needing you with my plan." "Yes..." Doon nagsimula lahat, doon ko nalaman kung sino ba talaga si Liham.
