No matter what happens I'll always stand by you

The first scan

Janette got onto the bed and rolled up her top. The midwife put the gel on Janette's stomach and she flinched because it was so cold. Janette could tell that Aljaz was nervous so she held out her hand hoping that he would hold it. Eventually he did but Janette could tell that he didn't want too. She was just about to ask him what was wrong but the midwife turned the screen around so they could see their baby.

When they got home, Aljaz couldn't stand being in the same room as his princess but she didn't know why. Janette had, had enough and decided to confront him.
"Baby can we talk please?" Janette asked hoping that the love of her life would talk to her. Aljaz looked at her and nodded. "What's going on? In the scan you didn't want to hold my hand and you've been weird ever since." Aljaz took a deep breath in and just came out with what was bothering him, "before the scan when I was trying to cheer you up as you looked anxious then you ran off crying and I didn't know what I'd done wrong. Then you came back like nothing was wrong."

Janette didn't know what to say. She didn't realise that she'd upset him.
Aljaz went upstairs to calm down, he loved Janette more than anything in the world but he had to calm down before he could talk to her again.

While he was upstairs, he accidentally knocked Janette's box off the dressing table which she kept everything that was special to her. When he went to pick everything up, he noticed a piece of paper that he'd never seen before. Aljaz turned around to make sure Janette wasn't watching and picked up the paper to read it.

That's when everything fell into place for him and little did Janette know that her life was about to change and she had a lot of explaining to do.
