I hadn't seen or spoken to Ava since she'd told Bex and I that Chloe was pregnant. Honestly I was in shock and didn't know how to respond as I knew it'd mean that when the baby was born I'd see less of Ava than I do now. I know it's selfish and I had no right to be considering what happened but I couldn't help it.

I'd spent the morning with Noah playing with his toys. He'd just gone down for a nap when my phone rang.

Ava: "hey, is now a good time to talk?"
Janette: "of course. Noah's just gone down for a nap"
Ava: "give him a hug from me when he wakes up"
Janette: "of course. What's up?"
Ava: "are you ok? You seemed to have something on your mind the other day when I saw you"
Janette: "I was just worrying about strictly"
Ava: "anything I can help with?"
Janette: "I was trying to work out what would happen to Noah. I can't exactly take him with me and of course Ali's going to be busy"
Ava: "I could have him"
Janette: "you're going to be busy with Chloe. It's ok, I'll figure something out"
Ava: "it's fine. Chloe's not due until after strictly plus her friends are always saying that they don't see her enough and they've offered to help"
Janette: "I'd feel better knowing that he's with someone who he knows"
Ava: "it's entirely up to you. Why don't you speak to Aljaz and let me know?"
Janette: "thank you. How are you?"
Ava: "I'm good thanks"
Janette: "how's things with Ashley?"
Ava: "getting better thanks. I took your advice and spoke to him without Chloe being around which helped both of us. He can't do enough for Chloe now that he's got his head around it"
Janette: "I'm glad. We're still here if you need a break or want to give them time together. I know that Noah would love to see you"
Ava: "I miss him too. We'll have to see how things go"
Janette: "it's up to you. You know where we are"
Ava: "I do thanks"
