By the time Janette woke up the next morning, Aljaz was lying in bed with Noah asleep on his chest. Janette rolled over and started stroking Noah's hand with her thumb. "what do you want to do today princess?" Aljaz asked as Janette rewoke up. She'd fed Noah then rolled over and gone back to sleep after her conversation with Aljaz who had let her. When Aljaz came back, he put the tray on his bedside table while he got into bed then gave Janette her pancakes. "You know you didn't have to go to so much trouble, we could have just had toast." They spent the whole day in bed watching Disney films back to back. They only moved to go to the bathroom, get something to eat or to get Noah from his cot.

It was the perfect day that they wanted.
