Janette was still asleep as Noah started to stir. Aljaz got out of bed trying not to move it to much in the fear of waking Janette up and took Noah downstairs with him as he was planning something for Janette.

Aljaz quickly text Karen to see if he could FaceTime her. About two seconds after he'd sent the text his phone lit up with Karen's name. He quickly answered with Noah on his lap. Noah's face lit up when he saw Karen. "How's my favourite person?" Karen asked referring to Noah. "He started to stir so I brought him down with me. Janette's still asleep, I knew he wouldn't want to see you and you wouldn't want to see him." "What's daddy saying hey. How's Janette?" "She's alright. Letting her catch up on the sleep she missed while this one was giving us the scare of our life. What are you doing tonight?" "She needs it. Nothing why?" "Do you want to spend it with your favourite person?" "Of course I do, I've missed him and his cuddles. Does Janette know?" "He's missed you too. No, it's a surprise." "My lips are sealed. What time do you want me to come over?" "About 4? Then you can help Janette get ready and it'll give us time before her first surprise." "She's lucky to have you. I'll see you later for loads of cuddles mister." "Thanks Karen, see you later."

Janette appeared in the door way just as Aljaz had hung up. "Here's where my two favourite people are. What have you been doing?" "Planning a surprise for my favourite princess and Noah wanted to help. Think he needs feeding." Aljaz passed Noah to Janette and went to make some breakfast and coffee. "How are you my little prince? You going to tell mummy who daddy was talking to?" Janette said to Noah after he'd finished his feed. "Janette princess for one he can't talk yet and two if he told you then part of your surprise would be ruined." "There's no harm in mummy trying to find out what daddy has planned." "There is when daddy wants it to be perfect" "sorry daddy. What's the plan for today then?" "What do you want to do? We have to be back by 4." "Can we hide inside all day again? I don't wanna see anyone else. All I want to do is enjoy our little bubble." "If that's what you want to do then that's what we'll do." "Why do we have to be back by 4?" "You'll just have to wait and see"

By the time 4 o'clock came, Janette had completely forgotten about the surprise. She went to open the door to find Karen there. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Janette asked puzzled, not having a clue about Karen and Aljaz's conversation from this morning. "I've come to see my best friend and her son." "Come in, Noah's going to be so excited to see you. He's missed his auntie Karen." "I've missed him too. Where is he?" "In the kitchen with Ali."

As soon as Karen walked into the kitchen, Noah's face lit up. She didn't even have to ask Aljaz if she could have a hold as he was in the process of passing him over to her. "I've missed you my little monkey. How you feeling now?" "He's doing better and has definitely missed cuddles with his favourite auntie." "Now that we've had the reunion, does someone wanna tell me what's going on?" "I'm taking you out for the night and Noah's staying with Karen." "Where we going?" "I can't tell you that information just yet. Why don't you jump in the shower, then Karen can help you get ready then we can go and you'll find out."

Janette ran up the stairs while Aljaz told Karen where they were going so she knew what to recommend for Janette to wear. As soon as Janette was ready, both girls went back downstairs to where the boys were. Janette and Aljaz said goodbye to Noah and Karen then left for their mysterious night out together.
