Getting to know Ava

When we got outside, Ava and I sat on the bench while Bex sat on another one leaving us to talk but still able to see us.

I began the conversation with "Thanks for earlier." "No problem, I could sense that you needed a shoulder and a hug. Is Aljaz ok?" "I did thanks. It wasn't exactly the best news with the doctor." "Do you want to talk about it or we could talk about something else?" "Can we talk about something else please?" "What would you like to talk about?" "How about we get to know each other?" Ava nodded. "What do you want to know?" "How long have you been with Ashley?" "I've been with them since I was 6. My turn to ask a question?" "Of course" "you don't have to answer this but is Aljaz my dad or were you with someone else before?" I could feel myself getting emotional again but I knew that if I ever met Ava that I would be honest with her. "It's someone else from before I even met Aljaz." "Sorry I shouldn't have asked. After a while of us talking, we went back inside. The atmosphere between Aljaz and I was so bad. Bex said that she had to go which meant I had to say goodbye to Ava which I didn't want to do. I promised her that I'd keep Bex updated with how Noah was and that we'd arrange another meeting soon.
