Being open with Karen

Karen had, had enough of Janette pushing everyone away so she decided that she had to do something about it before Janette lost everything and everyone.

Karen decided to go round to Janette's and run the risk of Noah seeing her as it was the only way Janette wouldn't back out. When she got to Janette's, Aljaz opened the door and looked relieved to see her. He let her in and went into the kitchen to discuss how they'd approach it, while letting Janette sleep in.

Noah started to wake up and crying so Karen went up to get him. As soon as he saw her he instantly stopped crying and reached up his arms. Karen took him downstairs to where Aljaz was.

Janette came downstairs, saw Karen and instantly knew that they were planning something.

Janette: "what's going on?"
Karen: "I could ask you exactly the same question"
Janette: "I asked first"
Karen: "you and I are gonna go out for the day. If it'll make you feel better then Noah can come with us or he can stay here with Aljaz"
Aljaz: "or I could go out and leave you two to talk"
Janette: "what about Noah?"
Aljaz: "would you rather I took him with me or left him here with you?"
Janette: "left him"
Aljaz: "if you want him then I'll leave him here"

Aljaz left to get ready while Janette put the kettle on and Karen cuddled Noah.

Karen: "that wasn't awkward at all"
Janette: "it's normal"
Karen: "talk to me"
Janette: "remember when I told you that Aljaz disappeared?"
Karen: "yep"
Janette: "well he just came back like nothing happened and still hasn't told me where he was. When Ava stayed for the week, they got on etc but whenever her and Noah were in bed it was just awkward between us. Then you know when we found out if we were back on strictly?"
Karen: "yeah, Amy and I knew something was up but we learnt not to push you"
Janette: "I appreciate it. Aljaz didn't even wish me good luck. Then as soon as the producers told me what they did I just had to get out of there. He asked me what happened the day before Ava's party when you had Noah and the day after we hardly spoke unless we were in the same room as Noah so he didn't suspect anything was wrong"
Karen: "what happened with the producers? I could tell that strictly played a part when it was brought up at Ava's party"
Janette: "you can't tell anyone"
Karen: "I promise"
Janette: "I'll be back but I just don't have a celebrity"
Karen: "you had a feeling that would happen"
Janette: "I did but hearing it made it more real"
Karen: "at least you'll still be in the pro routines and you'll get to see Ava and Noah more than you would if you had a partner"
Janette: "I guess"
