No matter what happens I'll always stand by you

Having Ava over for the week

After the meeting, Aljaz, Noah and I had gone home to get ready for Ava to stay with us while Chloe and Ashley were on honeymoon.

When Ava arrived, Noah and I were waiting by the window. Ashley took her case out of the car and up the front steps for her. I could see that her saying goodbye to Chloe broke her heart but she knew that it was only a week.

After She'd said goodbye she ran up the steps and took Noah from me to stop herself from falling apart. Once we'd waved them off, Noah and I gave her a tour of the house.

Once we'd finished dinner, Ava helped me with Noah's bedtime routine. Ava quickly went in the shower being quiet so she didn't wake Noah then went to bed.

As Aljaz and Ava had finished making breakfast, I appeared.

Me : "morning"
Ava: "morning, breakfast is ready"
Aljaz: "Ava made the pancakes"
Ava: "Aljaz made the coffee"
me: "let's eat before it gets cold"

We were nearly finished when we heard Noah on the baby monitor.

Ava: "can I go?"
Me: "of course"

As soon as Ava picked Noah up he stopped crying. She quickly changed him before coming back downstairs.

Ava: "what's the plan for today?"
Janette: "what would you like to do?"
Ava: "hmmmmmmmm"
Aljaz: "you can tell that you're Janette's daughter!"
Ava: "how?"
Janette: "because I make that noise whenever Aljaz asks me a question"
Ava: "ah. Have either of you got anything planned?"
Aljaz: "I was going to see Kev in a bit"
Janette: "I haven't got anything planned"
Ava: "what do you think monkey, what shall we do today?"

Noah and Ava look at each other and agreed.

Ava: "would it be really boring if we just stayed here and played with his toys and watched tv?"
Janette: "not at all. Have you spoke to Chloe today?"
Ava: "I text her when I woke up but I haven't checked to see if she's replied"
Janette: "why don't you go and check then we can watch tv and play?"
Ava: "coming monkey?"

Noah lifted his arms and started smiling when Ava picked him up.

"Come on then mister. Let's go have some fun"

Aljaz was getting ready to leave as we went back downstairs.

Ava: "bye"
Aljaz: "bye"

Janette: "you ok?"
Ava: "yeah, Chloe's boarded and probably up in the sky by now"
Janette: "hey, she'll be alright and you two will be reunited soon"

Before I knew it the week was over and Ava was packing to go back to Chloe and Ashley's tomorrow with a little monkey helping her.
