Will Noah survive?

The next few days dragged, doctors coming and going doing tests on Noah. All Aljaz and I could do was wait by Noah's bedside waiting for someone to tell us something.

After what felt like forever someone finally came to talk to us but as soon as they had I wished they hadn't. I couldn't listen to anymore and ran out of the room. I didn't want my baby to die. I'd only just got my daughter back and was happy for the first time in ages to be told there was a high chance I'd be about to loose my son.

I tried phoning Karen again and she finally answered. "You busy?" "What's up? Sorry been dealing with some stuff but I'm here now." "Have you got any of my messages?" "No why?" "Noah's been in hospital for like a week." "I'm so sorry, how is he?" "There's a high chance he could die." "Do you want me to come down?" "Yes please" I had to hang up to have another breakdown. Why me? What did I do for this to happen? I thought to myself while sat outside the hospital waiting for Karen.

As soon as I saw Karen I ran straight up to her and sobbed. She stood there holding me up and rubbing my back trying to calm me down. When I was calm, we sat down on the wall and I filled her in on everything to do with Noah and how I'd met Ava.

"I'm so sorry that I haven't been around but I'm here now. Why don't we go back up to the boys?" I nodded. We headed back to Noah's room. Aljaz and Karen said hi to each other then they sat down. Aljaz went to get some food for all of us.

While he was gone, Karen and I sat in silence. "Talk to me Janette, I know you better than you think I do." "I'm fine honestly. I just want Noah to be ok" "he will be, he's strong just like his parents." "I hope so"
