No matter what happens I'll always stand by you

Pushing Aljaz away

When Janette woke up the next day there was no sign of Noah or Aljaz. Janette didn't think much of it and went back to sleep.

As Janette re woke up Aljaz was lying next to her looking at his phone.

Janette: "morning baby"
Aljaz: "you mean afternoon"
Janette: "what time is it?"
Aljaz: "half 12"
Janette: "that means I've slept for the longest I have in months. Where's Noah?"
Aljaz: "Karen came and got him this morning and is going to have him tonight. Then bring him to Ava's party tomorrow"
Janette: "she doesn't have to"
Aljaz: "she offered. What do you want to do this afternoon"
Janette: "spend it with my husband"
Aljaz: "I can arrange that but first I'm going to ask you something and you have to be fully honest with me"
Janette: "Ali you're scaring me"
Aljaz: "what happened yesterday? One minute you were there about to speak to the producers then I turn around and see you leaving"
Janette: "I don't wanna talk about it"
Aljaz: "baby please, I thought we told each other everything"
Janette: "we do. I just need to get my head around it first. I'll be back in a minute"

Janette got out of bed and locked herself in the bathroom. Aljaz gave her a few minutes as he could tell that she was upset, then went to make sure that she was ok. He knocked on the door.

Aljaz: "hey don't cry, let me in please baby. Whatever it is we'll get through it together as we always do"

Janette just sat against the door crying.

Aljaz: "baby please. I don't like knowing that you're upset and there's nothing I can do about it"

Janette still didn't reply or move away from the door.

Aljaz: "I'm gonna go downstairs and leave you alone. I'll be downstairs whenever you're ready to talk or curl up and watch tv"

Aljaz stood up hoping that Janette would react but she didn't. Aljaz went downstairs thinking about anything that could be wrong and how he could fix it. It broke his heart when Janette pushed him away.

Janette hated pushing Aljaz away but she didn't want to think about what happened yesterday let alone talk about it.

After letting the tears fall and being sure that she didn't have any left, Janette got off the floor and went to clean her tear stained face. All she wanted was to cuddle Noah but he was at Karen's until tomorrow.

Janette knew that she couldn't avoid Aljaz forever and headed downstairs to get something to eat. Aljaz heard her coming down the stairs and met her at the bottom.

Aljaz: "Janette?"
Janette: "yeah"
Aljaz: "you ok"
Janette: "I will be"
Aljaz: "you hungry?"
Janette: "starving"
Aljaz: "we can either order something or we could go out?"
Janette: "can we order something, I don't really wanna go out"
Aljaz: "what do you want?"
Janette: "Chinese"
Aljaz: "on it"

Janette went into the lounge and curled up under the blanket that was on the back of the sofa. Aljaz walked in and sat next to her expecting her to move away but she moved over so her head was on his chest. As soon as Janette did it, Aljaz knew that Janette was scared of something and knew not to push her to talk, instead he moved his arm behind her back and onto her arm that was away from him and started rubbing his thumb on her arm hoping it would make her feel safe.

After they'd eaten, Janette went back to the sofa, found something to watch and wrapped herself up in the blanket while Aljaz took the rubbish out. When Aljaz came back he knew that something was definitely wrong; he went and sat back next to Janette who curled up next to him like she had done before they'd eaten.

Janette ended up falling asleep next Aljaz feeling the safest she had in a while.
