First night out since Noah was born

"I'm so glad you're here, I really need to talk to you." Janette yelled at Karen as she pulled her in after opening the door and dragging her upstairs so that Aljaz didn't hear. "What's wrong? Did something happen while you were out with Aljaz and Noah?" Karen asked concerned. "You could say that. We were having a great time then Aljaz took Noah for a boys walk while I sunbathed. While they were gone I had this phone call of a social worker called Bex. Basically she wanted to see if I was the same person as the one they had on file. She's my long lost daughter's social worker." Janette just blurted it out. Karen gave her friend a hug. "Does Aljaz know? What happens now?" "She said that she was going to talk to my daughter and see what she wants to do. I told Bex to tell her that's it's entirely up to her what happens and if she wants to meet etc is up to her. I should tell Ali shouldn't I? I wanted to talk to you first."

*Aljaz brings Noah upstairs*

"Hi Karen, I didn't know you were here. Is everything ok? You nearly ready?" "Sorry baby, I had to talk to Karen about something and got distracted. Why don't you take Noah back downstairs and Karen can help me get ready, we won't be long"

*Aljaz leaves*

"You should tell him, you saw how he reacted last time. What are you going to wear?" "True. I can't decide between my red or green dress" "green definitely with your heels. What about your hair?" "I was going to curl it but I might just put it in a ponytail" "do you want me to braid it for you?" "Yes please, let me get changed first"

Janette walked down the stairs as Aljaz appeared at the bottom. "You look like a Disney princess" "Karen helped. You sure you're going to be ok with Noah?" "We're going to be absolutely fine, now go and have an incredible time and don't worry about us"

*at the restaurant*

"You ok princess? You look like you have something on your mind." Aljaz questioned as they were waiting for their food. "I need to tell you something, I was asking Karen for her advice earlier that's what we were distracted by." "You can tell me anything. You're not leaving me are you?" Aljaz began to panic that the love of his life was going to leave him. "I promise I'm not going anywhere. You know when you went on a boys walk earlier?" *Aljaz nods* "well I had a phone call. Long story short is that my daughter has been found and her social worker was doing all the checks to make sure they had the right details etc." Janette finished not knowing how Aljaz was going to respond. "That's amazing, I'm really happy for you. I know how much you wanted to find her. What happens now?" "I've got to wait for her social worker Bex to get back in contact. I'm really worried that she'll hate me and not want to see me" Janette tried not to cry while revealing how she really felt. "Hey hey, it'll be alright ok. I'm behind you every step of the way. Now that you've told me, do you wanna not think about it and enjoy our time together?" "I love you. I'll be back in a minute, I'm just going to fix my makeup" Janette got up and went to the bathroom to text Karen and fix her makeup.

When they got home, Karen was sat on the sofa with a fast asleep Noah in her arms. "He started crying so I picked him up and he soon fell asleep in my arms. I didn't have the heart to put him down as I knew he'd probably start crying again" Karen explained. "I'll take him and see if I can get him settled. Thanks for looking after him" Aljaz gently took Noah from Karen and took him upstairs. "Did you have a good night?" Karen asked as she got her coat. "We did thanks. Thanks for encouraging me to tell Ali the truth. He said he's behind me whatever happens. Now we just have to wait"

Karen gave Janette a hug and left. Janette went to get ready for bed. She crept into the bedroom not wanting to wake Noah up. "Is he asleep?" She whispered to Aljaz as she got into bed. "Fast asleep. You ok?" Aljaz replied lifting his arm up for Janette to cuddle into. "Couldn't be happier, just hope everything works out. Goodnight my prince. I love you" "I love you too princess, everything will be ok"
