Janette and Aljaz couldn't believe that Noah was already 2 weeks old. They'd all got into a routine quickly, Janette always knew what time he'd want feeding and she'd been right every day.

Karen had messaged Janette everyday to see how she was, get daily updates on Noah and see if she needed anything. She couldn't wait to meet Noah and today was the day that she was getting to see Janette again and meet him.

"You going to be ok if I go out for a bit?" Aljaz asked as he walked out of the bathroom. "Of course, we'll be absolutely fine won't we little one? Plus Karen's coming over for a catch up and to meet Noah." Janette replied after putting Noah down and going over to Aljaz.

"She's here! She's here!" Janette yelled but not loud enough to wake Noah up. Karen had text Janette to say that she was outside as she didn't want to risk waking up Noah. "Hey" Janette said as she opened the door and hugged her friend. "I'll see you girls later, if you think of anything else we need text it to me." Aljaz said as he walked past the girls. "Bye" the girls said at the same time and Janette shut the door.

"Coffee?" Janette asked as they all went to the kitchen. "You know me too well, I did come to see you but I came to meet the famous Noah. Where is he?" Karen wondered. Just as Karen finished her sentence Noah started crying. "Right on cue. I'll be back in a minute" Janette said as she left to go and get Noah who stopped crying as soon as he got picked up. "You just wanted to meet your Auntie Karen didn't you?"

"There you go" Karen said passing her friend her coffee. Karen had been to Janette's way too many times and instantly knew where everything was, plus she could tell Janette needed the energy. "Thanks. Do you want a hold?" Janette wondered as she took the coffee with one hand and holding her son with the other. Karen nodded putting down her coffee to take Noah from Janette; he wasn't impressed but as soon as he saw his mum was still there he calmed down and staired up at Karen trying to work out how she knew his mum and what she was to him.

"How's things with Aljaz now?" Karen asked while Noah had his fingers gripped around hers. "He only does that with people he likes. They're ok thanks, not like they were before he found out about my past but better than they were." Janette replied. "What's up?" Karen knew her best friend well enough to know that she was thinking about something. "It doesn't matter honestly" "Janette please tell me, we're best friends and I hate knowing that someone or something has upset you" "it's going sound stupid but I want things to go back to how they used to be" "when was the last time you and Aljaz went out together or spent a few hours together?" Karen asked whilst forming a plan in her head. "Probably the day before Noah decided he was ready to meet the world, why?" "I was thinking I could babysit for you and then the pair of you could go out or spend time together." "We'll ask Aljaz when he gets back"

"Hi, I'm back" Aljaz called as he shut the door. "How were the shops?" Janette asked as she went to refill the kettle. "I got everything on the list. You ok Karen?" "I seem to have made a new friend. Do you want me try and get Noah back down?" Janette nodded so Karen left with Noah to try and get him back down in his cot leaving Janette and Aljaz to talk.

"Ali, how would you feel about leaving Noah with Karen one day or night and going out just us?" Janette asked while making more coffee. "Is it something you wanna do? Is Karen ok with it?" "It was Karen's idea and yeah. It would be nice to spend some time just us and it's not like Noah doesn't like Karen. But if you think it's to early then she said she'd only do it if we were ready." "Janette Skorjanec I would love to spend time with you. Would you like to go out for the day or go somewhere in the evening?" "Evening baby, then we can spend the day with our son just the three of us then spend the evening with my husband." Janette replied getting excited just as Karen walked back in. "He's fast asleep." "Thanks. All and I have been talking, if you're sure about babysitting then it's a yes from us." "Of course I'm sure. You two need some time together. Let me know when."
