When I got home from being with Ava, Noah was awake and I couldn't wait for cuddles. Aljaz could sense that something had happened but didn't want to ask until Noah had gone to bed.

Once Noah was in bed, Aljaz and I snuggled up on the sofa to watch tv. "How did it go with Ava today?" Aljaz asked as I was still quiet about it. "It was alright" "I know something happened. Usually when you come back you can't wait to talk about it but today you've hardly said anything" "remember when I met Chloe at the hospital?" "Yeah" "well things ended up being weird between her and Ava towards the end. Then today I could sense that something was up and Ava was worried about Chloe so I tried to ask Ava about it but she didn't want to talk about it. Usually I can't stop Ava talking about Ashley and Chloe but there was something definitely going on today." "Ava will talk to you when she's ready" "I know" "what's up?" "I guess I'm just finding everything weird and with everything that happened with Noah I don't know if I'm doing the right thing. Like when I'm not around Noah isn't himself then there's something definitely going on that Ava's hiding. I didn't realise how hard it would be" "hey, come here" Aljaz pulled me in close for a hug. "You're doing an amazing job at balancing Ava and Noah. They're very lucky to have you as their mum" "thanks Ali. I just needed to get it off my chest" "here if you ever need a rant. When do I get to meet the famous Ava properly?" "When I find out when I'm next seeing her. Karen said that she'd have Noah whenever we needed her to." "I'd like that.
