No matter what happens I'll always stand by you

First meeting

"Today is the day I've waited for since the day I had to give her up" I thought to myself when I woke up that Friday morning. After Ava's social worker had spoken to her, she rang me back to arrange a meeting and today is that day.

Earlier in the week there was something not right with Noah.

*Flashback*

"Ali do you think Noah's ok?" Janette asked as she was stood by their sons coat. Aljaz walked over to where his wife was standing. "We'll keep an eye on him today and if he's still not his usual self in a few hours then we'll take him to the doctors." Aljaz replied trying to stop his wife and himself panicking. He knew if something happened then Janette would blame herself.

After a few hours, Noah still wasn't himself so they took him to the doctors who said he had a chest infection and gave him some medicine to try.

*end of flashback*

Janette got up sensing that something had happened and was wrong. She went over to Noah's cot and instantly yelled at Aljaz to call an ambulance. When Janette and Noah got to the hospital, they were rushed to the team that were waiting to try and see if they could find out what was wrong with Noah. All Janette could do was wait for Aljaz to arrive and stand by her sons bed hoping he knew that his mum was with him. Janette suddenly remembered where she was meant to be and text Bex:

Hi Bex, please tell Ava I'm really really sorry but I won't be able to make it. I'm currently sat in a&e with my son.

To which she had a reply of hope he's ok. All Janette wanted to do was fall apart as she couldn't stand the thought of her son being in pain or something badly wrong with him and she couldn't protect him. Aljaz arrived and tried to comfort Janette as the doctors tried to save their son.
