Distraction day with Karen

Karen could tell that I wasn't myself. She told me that she was coming over and taking me out for the day. Noah was staying with Aljaz so that we could have a girls day.

When she arrived, I grabbed my jacket and bag and went to get in the car. As soon as Karen saw me she could tell that I was still upset from what happened at the studio.

Karen: "have you spoken to Ava?"
Janette: "nope, I'm waiting for her to message me first"
Karen: "you just have to give her time to get her head around everything."
Janette: "I guess. I just hope we can fix this and that I haven't lost her forever"
Karen: "if I know one thing about Ava it's that she's definitely your daughter"
Janette: "how'd you work that out?"
Karen: "she's stubborn and determined just like you"
Janette: "thanks. What have you got planned for us?"
Karen: "what do you wanna do?"
Janette: "look round the shops and get some food?"
Karen: "if that's what you want to do then that's what we'll do"
Janette: "thanks. I can tell you anything right and you won't tell anyone will you?"
Karen: "of course. You're my best friend"
Janette: "Aljaz dropped a massive question on me yesterday and I didn't know what to say"
Karen: "what did he say? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to"
Janette: "he wanted to know if I would want more kids"
Karen: "do you?"
Janette: "I said that I'd think about it. Like my head is all over the place with everything going on then he drops that on me. I have no idea what to do anymore"
Karen: "had you ever thought about having another baby or are you happy with Ava and Noah?"
Janette: "I don't know. If I got pregnant again then I would keep it of course. But I don't know if I wanna go through the morning sickness, not dancing and the pain again. Plus how do I know that Aljaz won't be the same as he was while I was pregnant with Noah"
Karen: "I get it but don't forget that he was the one who brought it up"
Janette: "true, thanks Karen. Can we not talk about it anymore and have some fun?"
Karen: "shall we eat or shop first?"
Janette: "eat"
