Introducing Ava to the strictly pros

Today Ava was coming with Aljaz and I to meet the other pros. She'd already met Amy and Karen at her birthday.

Aljaz and I were picking Ava up on our way so that Ashley didn't have to leave Chloe. Ava could tell that I wasn't myself but I couldn't bring myself to tell her what was wrong.

When we got to the studio, Amy arrived at the same time so Ava went to talk to her while Aljaz and I went inside.

After a while Karen came to find me.

Karen: "I've just had an interesting chat with Ava"
Janette: "what she say?"
Karen: "she's worried about you. She can tell that somethings going on so she came to find me with Amy, told me what happened and I said that I'd come and find you"
Janette: "where's Ava then?"
Karen: "hanging out with Amy as I know that we can trust her to look after Ava plus they were getting on ready well so I didn't wanna split them up"
Janette: "thanks. I don't know how to tell her what I told you the other week"
Karen: "hey, it's ok. You should tell her before someone else does"

Amy and Ava found Karen and I in the girls dressing room and it definitely looked like I'd been crying. Which of course Ava noticed straight away. It was almost like she knew me better than I knew myself.

Ava: "you ok?"
Janette: "I will be. Have you had fun with Amy?"
Ava: "I have. I met Stacey as well"
Janette: "what did you say?"
Amy: "that I met her a few weeks ago at her party and I'm just looking after her for a bit"
Janette: "thanks for looking after her"
Amy: "it's fine. I'll leave you to it"
Ava: "thanks for looking after me Amy"
Amy: "I had fun. If you need me come and find me?"
Ava: "you'll be the first person I look for"

It was so awkward as I could tell that Karen knew what was wrong with Janette but neither of them would tell me.

Ava: "Karen, can you give us a minute please"
Karen: "you going to be ok?"
Janette: "will you stay?"
Ava: "what's going on? I haven't seen you rehearsing and they've only got Kevin left. Now I think of it you were awkward and silent when Amy brought it up at my party"
Janette: "I can explain"
Ava: "I'm listening"
Janette: "i wanted to tell you but I didn't know how"
