Liam POV
I went in for Dialysis, my final one, and for some horrid reason, it landed on my first day of senior year... So I was almost an hour and a fifteen minutes late.
I got my classes and headed for my AP Biology class. I haven't had a science class for second period in over three years... when I had it with-
Never mind.
Good, I like science, just not so early in the morning. I like it after lunch. Just me, I suppose.
I walked into the class, gazing at my teacher, a sudden smile turned into a look of dispair.
I hate Mr.Fletcher. Fletcher is a demon with a degree in all things science. He gave me a smirk, a smirk of pure evil. I smiled back, I need to pass this class.
"Ah, Liam Payne. Being late won't do you any good this year," he nodded his head. He should be fired, because... because he's Mr.fucking Fletcher.
"Guess my class will be the perfect challenge with another Einstien in here," he agreed, touching his white beared that had grown since two years ago. Another?
The only person he'd say that to was..
I gazed around the room, glad that she wasn't in this class. I hope she left schools.
"Have a seat and open your book to page 1103 and read the analysis," he ordered, and I quickly shuffled to my seat and began.
After almost twenty minutes of silence, the door opened again, and at first, I didn't seem to mind.
"Ah, what a coincidence," Fletcher laughed, and I looked up from my reading in question, along with the rest of the class to see who was entering. They all laughed at his stupid statement, but once I caught on, I felt like punching him.
"Kelsey Diamonds, I was expecting you earlier, but this'll do," he smiled warmly at her. I felt myself groan in hatred as I turned from his face to hers, and was surprised to see her new look.
She caught my gaze, and at first her eyes opened wide in surprise, before turning into one that I knew I was giving off, pure utter hatred.
Even through the hate, I couldn't help but observe all the differences in her appearance since the last time I saw her, which was at Niall house party this summer.
For one, she had lost a ton of weight. Her shoulders had shrunken, her collarbone increasingly noticeable, her breast was a size smaller, but still nice. Her tiny waist took the most of me by surprise, since her curves proved that she had gone alot healthier.
Then again, her skin was a lot paler than before, and her eyes a little less shiny, she was different in both a good and bad way.
But I didn't care, I hate her with all my guts.
"Well, Ms.Diamonds, go ahead and take a seat next to Mr.Payne here and we'll see what happens," he chuckled evily at me. She rose an eyebrow, giving Fletcher a look of disbelief.
I gulped in anger and leaned forward.
"I'd rather drop the class than sit beside that," I hissed as I glared at Fletcher. He gave me a stern look.
"Oh shut it, Liam. Grow the fuck up," she crossed her arms like always.
"Watch the language," Fletcher threatened. I laughed and stood up, closing my book and walked near the door, pulling her aside.
"I grew up, I just never forgot," I spat at her, and she glared, her face reddening with fiery.
"I'll be at the front office," I walked out, Fletcher not saying a word.
I don't care if I was overly dramatic.
She already ruined my first day. I can tolerate alot of people, but she, she is something I've habitually learned to not tolerate, because she reminds me of my past, and that's something that's behind me.

Kelsey POV
I let it go, taking my seat and trying to keep my anger controlled, since I have high blood pressure- yup, a side ffect of having only one kidney.
All through out the class, my mind continued to wonder back to what my doctor said this morning and her words only made me grow more anxious
"Kelsey, how long ago did you get the transplant? " she asked as she looked at my blood results. I sighed deeply.
"Around a year ago. Is there something wrong?"
"Well, not quite, but just to be sure, I need you coming in once a week for the next few months just to make sure your kidney doesn't fail." she said as softly as she could. I coughed in surprise.
FAIL?
It was a big shock to hear that, but I can understand her concern. Ever since I gave Liam my kidney, life has gotten tough, while his has became easier.
But I guess it's life, and even though my chances of dying have heightened, I refuse to regret what I did.
The bell rang and I jumped in fear, ridding me of my flashbacks before quickly shuffling out and to my locker.
"Hey!" Sloane's voice echoed off of the metal and made me jump again, my heart fluttering. She turned me around slowly, her eyebrow raised, hazel eyes concerned.
"Kelsey, you don't look so good," she gazed at my face, making me squirm away a bit. I quickly slipped on my sweater even though it wasn't cold.
"I feel great though," I replied a little too defensively. She sent her hand to her hip, flipping her weight to one leg.
"What did they tell you?" She ordered, a tint of anger in her tone. I knew I couldn't lie to her, since I can't lie in general.
"Nothing much, just need to be getting blood out more often than usual to make sure it's not failing," I said in one breath, getting my books and walking with her across the hall.
As weird as it is, Sloane was like my sister from another mister, she knew me inside and out, and knew every secret I had, including Liam's. I began to ask questions to distract her, but soon enough, she caught on to what I was doing..
She stopped me in my tracks of my next class, her face pained.
"Wait, like kidney failure? Kelsey, what the fuck?" She grabbed my shoulders, her voice seeming in disbelief. I shrugged, holding the knot in my throat. This is why I hate thinking about my problems, they seem to be worsening as it goes.
"Quiet down, Sloane," I looked around, awkwardly sliding my hair behind my ear.
"Quiet down? Kelsey, how the fuck are you so okay with this? Here you are taking all these medications, getting all these test like a thousand times a week, and now this? Are you fucking blind? Kelsey, I swear, if you don't tell him, I will, just so he could feel like complete shit because this isn't right," she ranted angrily, and I felt like I was being whipped with her words.
Because they were all true. She looked past my shoulder and instantly shut up, her eyes switching back to mine instantly.
"Anyways, I'll see you around," she sighed, rolling her eyes. "And pull down your sweater, they're checking out your as', she finished in this revengeful tone before walking off. I rose an eyebrow, turned around quickly, catching three gazes that made Sloane's words make sense.
As I gazed, I felt the heat rush to my face.
God kill me now.
To my completely horrid luck, those gazes came from Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne.
All their expressions changing when they realized who I was.
