LIAM POV

"Liam," her swollen eyes widened. I pouted at the sight of her tears. I never meant for any of this to happen.. To hurt her so badly, when everything she's done for me, is only destroying her even more.

I looked down at the rose as I thought about Essie's words.

"Kelsey, I'm sorry. I.. I..," the knot on my throat didn't even let me speak loud enough, didn't let me think straight because I just wanted to hold her tightly at the moment.

"Who's at the door?" a man called, steps approaching as Kelsey's face fell into panic.

I almost shit myself at the thought that she had another guy already... but once I caught view of the familiar blue eyed sir, I smiled.

"Ah, is that you, Liam?" Mr. Diamonds scoffed in disbelief. He opened the door widely, and putting a hand on Kelsey's shoulder.

I nodded my head, putting up my mannered facade and letting the tears disappear in my eyes. I outreached my hand to him, and he took it happily.

"Yes, sir. How are you?" I shook his tight grasp, his laugh seeming surprised.

"Well, this is such a surprise. Come in, come in," He waved me off, giving Kelsey a look of confusion before she sheepishly smiled.

"Thank you, Mr.Diamonds," I replied softly, walking in and giving Kelsey a weak smile. She didn't even try to give one back, she just looked away and went back into the kitchen.

"So, you finally put on your big boy trousers and fixed the war between you two," He signaled for me to sit on the table, and I obeyed a little intimidatingly.

His expression held a smile, but you could easily tell he felt a little resentful against me... and I could understand.

I mean, I'm pretty sure all he knew was that Kelsey donated her kidney, just for me to hold a grudge against her in return for almost 3 years.

I doubt he had a clue that his daughter and I.. did things.Shoot, I doubt he even knew that I was dating her.

I let out a diligent laugh, nodding my head as Kelsey passed me some tea. I know she wouldn't have gave me any if it was just me here, but she knows how well mannered her father likes to be with guests..

"Yeah, a massive apology, it was all just a big understanding, but now things couldn't be better," I replied, thanking Kelsey for the tea she rudely placed on the edge of the table.

She was really upset now.

"So, that rose in your hand. I hope it's for me," Mr.Diamonds chuckled. I rose my eyebrows in fear. Frantically trying to think of something.

"No, sir. It's actually for Kelsey. I've.. uh," I stuttered, finding the courage to stand up and say it as respectfully as I could.

"I've just started dating Kelsey yesterday, sir." I tried to keep a smile... trying not to make contact with his scary glare.

"If that's o-okay with you, sir," I gulped when his smile disappeared.  He looked at Kelsey, who nervously shrugged before he then opened his mouth to say something.

His phone vibrated, and he looked down at it.

"I've got to go," he looked back up at Kelsey, his face serious as he slid his hand through his black hair. I mentally sighed in relief, because I was dying to make things right with Kelsey again.

Then Mr.Diamonds turned to me, a smirk on his features, his eyes dark.

"How about you walk me out to my taxi, Liam," he said softly, his eyebrow raised in question.

I felt like throwing up from the nervousness, but nonetheless, I nodded.

"Of course, Mr.Diamonds," I replied sheepishly, sliding the rose onto the counter in front of Kelsey as I walked to help him take his things...

"Good, gives me time to give ya' a good man to man talk," he grunted as he grabbed his luggage.

I gulped in fright.
