LIAM POV

"You want to be suspended for two days, Mr. Payne? It's your senior year and that won't look good for college," Principle Feddler walked past me, and to his desk. Disappointment was written all over his expression.

I shook my head, relaxing my arms that I had crossed against my chest.

"No, sir" i murmured under my breath.

"Well, Mr and Mrs.Franco, have any alternative?" he looked besides me, and I kept my head down.

"Community service for a month, and detention for two weeks," the woman's high pitched voice said authoritatively, as I heard her stand up.

"That'll do since now I'll have to have Aiden's nose worked on," she huffed, walking out. I looked behind me, watching the two douche bag rich neighbors of mine walk out. I looked back at Mr.Feddler who watched them leave before sending a stern gaze back at me.

"What was that all about Liam?" he sat down, relaxing as I stood up to shut the door. Mr.Feddler has known my parents for the longest, and no one had a clue that he was my godfather.

I shrugged, still pretty heated.

"Don't you dare shrug at me, Liam. What the hell made you decide to beat the crap out of Franco?" he rose his hands in question, leaning back on his chair.

I sighed, and looked up at him.

"He pissed me off," I lied. He gave me this look, this challenging glare as he picked up the phone and dialed a number. My eyes closed to slits; He wouldn't dare call my parents....

"Hello?" he smiled at me, and I felt my heart stutter at the thought of how angry my parents would be...

"Coach, mind telling me what happened exactly?" he looked at me, and I didn't know whether to be happy or even more afraid. I looked away embarrassingly as Mr.Feddler began to raise an eyebrow.

"Oh really?" he gave me an odd look.

"Is she okay? Oh, okay," he continued. I sent my hand through my hair as he hung up, feeling my face reddened.

"Guess the tables have turned, eh?" he snickered, and I gave him a hard look.

"Hey, don't give me that look." he threatened, and I rolled my eyes and looked away.

"Kelsey Diamonds, eh? Didn't you have some beef with her for the last three years?" he asked. I didn't respond.

"Liam Payne, were you defending your former best friend again?" he asked with a smile. He does not act like an adult, I swear. I don't even know how he got this job. I coughed a laugh.

"No, I was just-" I furrowed my eyebrows, my smile disappearing as I though..

What was I doing?

He laughed, and I looked up at him. Feddler was a good guy, but he was always in everyone's business.. Maybe that's why he was principle.

"Ya' know, Liam, resentment is one of the main things that keep us from being happy," he began in his now deep ' I'm wise' tone.

"I don't want to hear it, Feddler," I stood up, throwing my backpack over my shoulder, my hand a little swollen. He turned to me, carelessly.

"That's Principle Feddler to you," he pointed. I opened the door.

"Hey," he called and I looked back, annoyed.

"Liam, why do you hate her so much?" he asked as he set his feet on his desk, reading some file.

He looked at me, knowing exactly what he was trying to.. Get me to think of the past again.

I walked out, closing the door behind me, stares from all the students as the dismissal bell ended the school day.

Here goes another epidemic of gossip.
