Kelsey POV
"I honestly can't get myself to believe he did that. I mean, he's a fucking douche bag to me," I shrugged as waited for Essie to wash her hands, my back against the tile wall of the girls bathroom.
"Well, believe it, because the whole school knows about it," she assured as she finished and we paced out.
"I need to go to my locker," she huffed as I quickly followed. As she casually and slowly reached for her books, I decided to relax. It'd take a while for her to organize it...
I sent my back onto one of the poles that held the roof of the school, sighing deeply. Essie began to talk about something, and at first I was paying attention, until I glanced to the side and caught view of the face that lingered in my thoughts.
Liam leaned against his locker, his eyebrows furrowed, brown eyes dark, and lips pursed as that Harry kid talked to him; Louis tugging on his chest, blurting something inaudible, trying to mess with him.
As I observed, I had a hard time imagining the scene yesterday after I passed out. I mean, for all I know, it could be fake gossip that spread to piss us off.
His face then softened a bit; his full lips curved slightly at the edges as the blonde one made a remark, probably a joke.
I looked down as he crossed his arms over his chest, the curves of his biceps squeezing against his either side of his muscular figure. His leather jacket faded yet new; his whole outfit more bike-rider badboy than usual. This was a new look for Liam. I mean,he'd never wear such ridiculous clothing when we'd hang out.
But then again, he is my ex-best friend. And that was a whole different Liam.
Before Liam..
As I reminisced, his eyes suddenly flickered to mine and his lips parted, our gazes completely focused on one another.
I whipped my view back to Essie frantically. When she didn't lool back, I glared at the floor.
Shit. Shit. Shit.
He caught me staring.

Liam POV
"Just admit it, you were jealous," Harry continuously said. It was annoying because I was getting stares from anyone, even my teachers.
I was never a violent person, but something about Aiden Franco made me twitch now.
"So protective of that new body, aren't ya lad?" Louis tugged on my jacket.
" Leave the lad alone, guys," Niall pushed Louis away, who gave him a sassy expression. Niall then turned back to me.
"But Liam, I think Kelsey broke his nose before you did, you should've seen her punch," his smile was impressed, and I couldn't help but let out a slight laugh. Then they continued to joke..
I crossed my arms, and let my gaze wonder as they snickered.
To my surprise, I found Kelsey glancing straight at me, but somehow, she didn't move her gaze. I followed her stare as she looked at my arms... I let out huff, the corners of my mouth outstretching a bit more.
Is Kelsey scanning me?
She then met my eyes, and her face reddened slightly before she looked away and back at the ground.
I was going to do the same, until I watched some guy from my French class walk deadly close to her.
As I looked, he leaned against the pole, his height a foot over hers.
I felt this weird reflex to walk up and tell the kid to give her some space.. His chest was almost touching her face for god sake's.
Then Kelsey's head bopped up, and I guess she hadn't noticed his sudden coming because she jumped, losing the support of the pole and falling back.
I took a step forward in attempt to help her, but the kid tugged her arm quickly, making her jerk back up. The expression on her face did not seem to grateful for that...
She spotted me, and she grimaced before listening to the kid and shuffling into her backpack, taking out a few papers. He winked at her as he took the assignment, and walked off.
I set my gaze back on her, and she was walking towards me... Something erupted in my lower abdomen, like some type of nervousness; the men noticed that and they all just glared.
"Um, Hi," she quickly said in a miraculously friendly tone. She shuffled through her bag, pulling out the metal waterbottle I had given her yesterday. She handed it to me.
I looked at it with confusion.
"I didn't use it, but I still washed it out and refilled it. Thanks though," I didn't quite know what to say, I was shocked in a way.
I looked around, everyone seeming to be looking at us. I caught Amanda's gaze across the hall, her eyes furrowed in hatred as she rushed towards me angrily.
I panicked.
"Yeah, don't make it a big deal," I spat as i gave Kelsey a stern look and her eyes opened wide with disbelief.
Just walk away, dammit.
" I'm sorry? " she asked sarcastically, Niall tugged my shoulder for me to knock it off.
Amanda was at my side in seconds, her hands wrapping around my crossed arm obviously to show off.
She pecked my cheek seductively.
"Hey Babe, is there another problem here?" she hissed at my ex- best friend.
I looked back at Kelsey, and her face became a little discolored, before she just turned and walked away.
I wanted to say something...
I just didn't know what.
And couldn't with Amanda by my side.
"Next time, I'll make sure to cut off your name from the championship boxing semi-finals," she threatened my life long dream.
I nodded, forcefully ripping my gaze off of my distant former friend, just to kiss my boxing manager's daughter.
