Kelsey POV

“Never thought I’d have to be on this site again,” Liam murmured under his breath as I entered back into the room after cleaning up my face a bit.

I don’t think he knew I was in the room yet, and I stood there, watching him click through the foundation site, the most painful grimace on his expression.

Again, maybe this was a bad idea.

I didn’t want to see him like this. I mean, I already cried in front of him, poured out my heart, don’t you think that was enough torture?

I forced a smile on my face, letting my steps be heard in my room. He turned to me, his expression changing to one of  happiness.

I slid onto the bed, going criss cross right  in front of Liam who was in the same position, the laptop on his lap.

He kept a smile as he continued to click, but his eyes read pain. I sighed, this is enough.

“What’s your doctor’s name?” he asked softly, typing.

“I’ll do it,” I replied too quickly.

“Kelsey, seriously. I’m not going to steal your information,” Liam huffed sarcastically as I snatched the laptop from him.

I sniffled, still getting over the whole break down earlier, my face feeling fuller, but I didn’t let that stop me from hiding what I was typing on the screen.

“I know, I just like my independency,” I lifted my shoulders, hoping he’d sense my sarcasm.

He let out a sigh, letting it go.

I quickly typed in nonsense, not wanting Liam to know that I really did not want to do this again.

I only agreed because when he brought up the idea, his face lit up with hope, happiness.

And that’s all I wanted to get out of him after what just happened.

“There, I’m done,” I said after a long thirty minutes of silence, Liam fiddling with the things on my bedside cabinet.

There was a sudden flash, and I blinked in surprise.

I looked up to find Liam, holding my Kodak Camera to his eyes, a smirk on his face.

“Beautiful,” he gave an australian accent, emphasizing the almost silent ‘t’ in his statement.

“Liam!” I laughed, feeling my face blush as he reviewed the photo.

I closed the laptop and threw it to the side. I reached up to grab the camera in his hand, and he laughed as he pulled away, teasing me. I thought about how old my camera was, and how my dad had recently mailed me a brand new one.

Hmmmm…..

I let a smirk find it’s way to my lips, before I forcefully made him drop the camera onto the floor.

I was so evil for doing what I was about to do.

I sent my hands over my mouth, opening my eyes wide with shock as the camera crashed to the ground, making the lense snap off ( something it was made to do). Liam froze where he was, his face just as frightened.

“That was a 5 thousand dollar camera my dad got me,” I huffed, turning to find Liam’s mouth drop on shock.

“Holy shit, Kels. I’m sorry. I’ll- I’ll buy a new one,” he sat up on the bed, as I reached over to pick it up.

I tried to hold in my smile as I held the two pieces in front of him, his frantic expression almost making me lose it.

He watched in confusion as the silence gave an exaggerated feeling in the atmosphere, when I clicked the two parts back together.

“Just kidding, this camera’s old,” I smiled, laughing before I tossed it onto the chair on the other side of the room.

Liam stood there frozen for a minute, absorbing the ruthless little joke I pulled, watching the camera land messily onto the furniture.

“That was wrong, Kels,” he looked back at me, his lips struggling to keep down a smile as he scowled.

I giggled, pouting and setting myself back onto the bed, sliding onto his chest.

“I’m sorry,” I looked into his brown eyes that warmed up at my touch.

He let his grin escape, and he sent his hands to my face, holding me in for a long passionate kiss.

I loved the feeling of his skin on mine. I loved the feeling of knowing that I was lucky enough, out of all the people in this world.

To have fallen in love with my best friend.

To have been caught in that love with my best friend.

I just wish I didn’t have let go, for him.

But for now, I let those thoughts escape me as our kisses heated up, our hands finding their way softly and caringly around each other.

I felt a frenzy heat up in my torso, our breaths harsher as our train of thoughts were cut off...

And before I knew it, I was making love to my best friend again.
