Niall POV
Damn... I really hope we find Kelsey. It really worries me that Liam is so hurt by this. She has to be fine, I know it... I hope so.
"Kelsey! " I yelled as I searched the water for god forbid something that shouldn't be there. I spotted a figure at the side, but It was a rock. I sighed, the sunset is halfway down already.
My phone vibrated in my tuxedo, and I looked through my messages, letting out a breath of relief.
Found Kelsey...Imma stay here for a while.. Go talk to Sloane, lad. Thanks.
I nodded my head, before I jogged along the beach, before I heard Sloane's voice. I searched to find her coming out of the bushes, tears in her eyes as her mascara fell from her cheeks. She fell over a rock, and I literally sprinted over to her.
I outstretched my hand to help her up, and she looked up at me, her face blank as she let me raise her to her feet.
She didn't say a word but look away and continue searching... I opened my mouth, not knowing what to say. She was definitely upset.
"He found her already, " I blurted softly, watching her freeze her gaze from the distance and turn to me. Her big hazel brown eyes lightening a bit.
"He did?" she sighed, wiping under her eyes.
I took a step to help her, but she shot a dark look at me, and I stopped.
"I'm going to give them their privacy then. See you around," she huffed nonchalantly before turning her back to me and walking back to the trail.
This is so odd... I mean, I felt so happy, nostalgic even. Seeing her brought back memories of high school.. and it was crazy what just three months can do..
But how distant Sloane was acting... it hurt me.
"Hey, wait for me," I called as I finally went ahead and tried to catch up. She turned her head slightly before she continued to walk.
Gosh, three months and running seems to be harsher, or maybe it's just the sand.
"What ever happened to us?" I breathed as I oulled her to a stop, right as we walked onto the pavement up the trail that led back to the venue.
She rose an eyebrow, crossing her arms across her chest, before shifting her weight onto one foot, scanning me from head to toe. Her expression went from sass, to sadness, then back to an angry sass.
"You tell me, Niall." she rolled her eyes, sighing when I didn't respond, and began walking up the trail. As upset as she was, I had to admit, I loved her sassy side. Her little eye rolling and challenging actions.
It was kinda of a turn on.
"You're a fucking douche bag, Niall. Seriously just leave me alone," she growled as she huffed her back to me and continued walking up the trail. Okay, that hurt.
"Wait,Sloane. I'm sorry, okay," I stopped her again once we got by the venue. I held her tightly by the shoulders this time, turning her to face me. Her perfect eyebrows arched with sass, and her full lips remained pursed.
"I missed you so much," I flickered my eyes across her face, scanning her to make sure she understood my sincerity. She breathed a small laugh, her lip curving halfway.
"I know. Kelsey told me," her expression softened as she looked away. I smiled. She knows I love her. I lifted her chin, making sure I don't lose a second of that beautiful face of hers.
"I love you Sloane ," I stated proudly, before I slipped my lips onto hers. Just as I had anticipated, the soft contours of her own happily tuned in, and I had never felt so complete in my life.
"I hate you so much," she growled, before giggling, sending her lips back onto mine. I smiled, pulling her against me.
"What?" I send my lips grazing her neck, feeling the atmosphere heat up against the wall.
"I said I love you too, Niall Horan," she laughed, before forcing my into the back of the building.
It feels so good to be back.
