Josh and I arrived back in the castle from our training out in the courtyard. Our best matchup for training was each other, since we both used daggers as our offense. The only difference was our defense. I used a frying pan as a shield; meanwhile Josh used his own dexterity. I had used a real shield once in a fight. I preferred that, only that was much harder to carry around. Like Heather, we specialized in situational fighting and makeshift fighting without our typical daggers.

Yes, I preferred my dagger, but sometimes we don't get that luxury.

Josh smiled as he saw Sheria was all the materials from the crate sprawled all over the table, "looks like they got everything you need Dawn."

Sheria turned around quickly. She was in tears, "No, no...."

"Did you not order everything?" I asked her.

"No, no it's all here, it's not that..." Sheria continued to cry more. Not a word could be made out. She ran up and hugged me, clutching onto me for dear life.

I was rather worried now. Sheria may cry a lot, but usually she's not this bad off, "Sheria, is Heather okay?"

"It's no use. He won't tell me anything." Rheannah entered the room, "All I know is that the bow's hers and Max wants to go home and never see Heather again."

Sheria stopped crying for a moment to speak, "I know...Heather told me it's hers and she's done with Max. She went to her room with the books Josh was reading to figure out how to dissolve their bond..."

"Wait, what happened while we were training?" Josh was clearly upset now, "What's going on here?"

Rheannah sighed, "Heather and Max got the idea that the bow might've been Sheria's since apparently it seeks out those who are pure at heart and are seeking light or something like that. All I know is Max had his doubts on if Heather was really seeking light and that thing—it talks or something. Because they weren't just arguing with each other, they were arguing with that bow of hers. It made both of them hate each other."

"The artifacts only reveal the true intentions of those who question them." I sighed, "Perhaps they both had their doubts. Were they saying anything in their arguing?"

Rheannah shook her head, "No they were speaking scriptures once again. Remind me to actually learn the scripture language."

"Sheria, you know basic scripture. Did you pick up anything?" I asked her.

Sheria shook her head, "they're too fluent and talk too fast. All I know is they said artifacts several times and Heather kept repeating one word."

"What word?" I asked, trying to understand what she knew.

"Sacrifice." Sheria cried, "Heather's going to be alright, right? Is this my fault because I cursed her?!"

"No Sheria, I can assure you that you're not at fault here. Why don't we go work on figuring out how to undo this curse? I'm sure Josh can talk Heather out of this."

"How can he do such a thing if Heather hates him too? I thought Heather made a friend..." Sheria collected her things in the crate before she started to head out of the room, "I just wanna go home now too...let's go Dawnlight." She left the room with her stuff.

I just turned to Rheannah and Josh, "what now? We obviously can't train like this."

"We can't fight like this. If we were to come under attack, we'd be destroyed like this. We're all split up and unorganized."

Josh shrugged, "you could go talk to Heather again like you did last time, Rheannah."

"How dare you even suggest something like that!" I screamed back at him. "We're not injuring our own!"
