Appoligies, forgivness, fun time

James POV:
Its finally the weekend which means no more school and no more Beth!
I go into the sitting room where my mom was.
'Hey James'
'Yo'
'Wheres Riley? Isnt she ment to be with you today?'
'Yep, but we cancled'
'Why?'
'We just have alot of things going on right now'
'Oh'
I look at her.
'Can I ask you something?'
'Sure'
'When you and dad were together, used he ever date someone before you?'
'One person'
'Did she ever show up?'
'Many times'
'What did she want?'
'Your father. She wanted to be with him'
'What happened?'
'Well we stuck together and fought for what we believed in which was our love for eachother. Eventually she realised that she wasnt winning him back and accepted our realitionship'
'Have you seen her round?'
'Yeah. We always stop and chat. We are the best of friends. Once we realised eachothers differences and accepted eachother for who we were and what realitionships we were in everything turned out fine'
I nodded.
'Why?'
'Beth showed up at school. She said shes staying the year'
'Why is that a bad thing?'
'Me and Riley are in a really good realitionship and now that could all change just because she wants me back'
'What did Riley say?'
'I dont think I know her any more. Shes totally changed. She is full of hatred and doesnt have that sparkle in her eyes any more. She said that Beth was a pig and that bad pigs get killed! Mom I scared that shes going to do something stupid! Im scared that Ill never see the sweet girl that I fell in love with again'
'What excatly did Beth say to make her like that'
'Not just what she said. But what she did. She walked up and stood infront of me and kissed me. Infront of everyone! And Riley! I ran out into the bathrooms and Riley came in after me. Long story short, Beth saw us making out and they started to fight. Riley started to punch her so hard that I had to pull her back. I think Ive lost the gentil Riley that I once knew. All because of Beth been so selfish!'
I looked at her.
'You havent lost her. The sweet gentil Riley is still there and once this is all over she will be back. Everyone has two sides James. A light and a dark. Rileys dark is just showing at the moment but her light side will be back again'
'But how do I bring that side back?'
'Do you trully love her?'
'Yes I do'
'Then the only way to get that back is to fight for your love. Fight for whats right. She thinks that shes doing it but she cant do it without your help. She needs you James. And you need her'
I look at her.
'Thanks mom'
'No worries'
She then gets up and leaves. The door bell rings and I answer it. My blood starts to boil when I see who it is. Why cant she leave me alone?!
'What do you want Beth?'
'Just wondering if you wanted help with any homework'
'Nope'
'Really?'
'Yep'
'Why?'
'All done'
'Even your math?'
'Yep'
I look at her.
'We done now? Cause I have some things to sort out and I dont need you bothering me'
'Okay. Ill see you at school then'
She walks off as I close the door. I lean against it. I start to walk off when the door bell goes again.
'I told you to leave... Riley?'
She stands at the door frame looking at me.
'Hi. Can I come in?' she quietly asks.
'Yeah sure'
I step aside alowing her in.
'So whats up?'
'I think we need to talk about what happened at school the other day'
'Fine'
We go into the sitting room and sit down.
'Im sorry I started to beat her up'
'Dont even worry about it'
'I saw how you looked at me'
'What do you mean?'
'Your scared. Of me'
'Riley no! Im not scared of you'
'Yes you are'
'Im scared for you'
'Why?'
'Because I dont want you to do anything stupid!'
She looks at me
'Im not going to do anything stupid' she laughs.
'Promise?'
'Promise'
She hugs me.
'I want us to fight for this Ri. I dont want her to break us up'
'But we are fighting for this'
'Yes but maby not so mad. There should be some sort of way to go about this other than beating the life out of her!'
She laughs.
'Well what do you have in mind?'
'Meet her'
'What?'
'We need to sit down and talk to her and your going to have to appoligse to her too'
'First part is okay. Second part is not. Theres no way that Im appoligising to her!'
'Riley! If we want this to work then you need to say your sorry!'
She sighs and puts her head down.
'Fine. Ill do it'
I smile at her.
'I love you'
'I love you too'
I lean in and kiss her.
I pull out my phone to text her.
'You have her number?'
'Yeah'
'Why?'
'Ive always had it'
'Oh'
I look at her.
'You okay?'
'Yeah. Its just isnt it kinnda weird having your exs number?'
I shrug.
'Dunno'
She looks at me.
'Have you ever been in a situation like this before?'
'Like what?'
'Where you have two girls fighting over you?'
'Nope. But I think its cute. When I see you mad you look very attractive'
She blushes.
The door bell rings. I answer it.
'Beth hi. Did you get my text?'
'Yeah. Mind if I come in?'
She pushes past me and goes into the sitting room.
She looks at Riley.
'Hello Riley'
'Hello Beth'
Riley looks at me and I look back at her.
'Can we am talk for a minute?'
'Why?'
'So we can sort this thing out?'
'So now you dont want to fight me anymore?'
'I do. Believe me. But he wont let me'
'Well then talk'
'Why are you doing this Beth?' I ask her sitting next to Riley.
'Because I want to be with you'
'But you know Im with Riley'
'Yes but Ive always wanted my own realationship'
'Couldnt you have chosen someone else?' Riley asked.
Beth sighs.
'James probally told you that we were close friends in school right?'
She nods.
'Well the only reason for that was because I went through a hard time'
Riley looks at me and then at Beth.
'Well what happened?'
She put her head down.
'Beth used to get bullied alot' I told her.
'Why?'
'Appearances, cleverness and abilaties I guess'
'Theyd always laugh at the way Id look'
'What used you wear?'
'Crop tops, jeans, dresses, heels. That kind of stuff'
'What was wrong with that?'
'I dont know. I guess it was because everyone was wearing all these other clothes like tracksuits and hoodies and stuff'
'What used they say to you?'
She looked at me with tears forming.
'Sorry. You dont have to answer that'
'That I was ugly, and a looser, and that I will never be liked by anyone'
Riley looked shocked.
'Thats where James comes in'
She looked at me.
'I felt sorry for the way she used to be treated so I kinnda hung around with her so she wouldnt feel so alone'
'Everytime someone would say something, he would stand up and yell 'SHUT UP YA BASTERDS AND LEAVE HER ALONE!''
'Oh. Okay' Riley said looking at me.
'I have to say, my voice did hurt for a long time after that!'
We all laugh.
'Did it stop?'
'Yeah. James told the teachers what was going on and they took it from there. After a week it stoped and people started to accept me for who I was'
We sit in silence.
'Beth I... Im so sorry. It was wrong of me to say thoes things to you. Im not only saying this because of what you went through, its because I mean it. I really do'
'Naa. Dont sweat it. Its cool. I do deserve thoes things after what I did'
Riley looks at her.
'And Im sorry that I kissed him infront of everyone. And you. It was wrong. I guess I wanted him so badly that Id even go as far as that. I know I hurt you and James and all your friends. I trully am sorry'
'But why did you do it. Why would you do all that just to break us up and get me?' I asked.
She looks at me.
'Because I love you James. I always have'
We sit in silence.
'But I think Im finally ready to let you go. Just seeing you two together is killing me, but I know its not right of me either to mess with what your hearts wants. I can tell that you want to fight for your realitionship. I wish it was me. But its not. And I think Im ready to accept that and move on'
I get up and go over to her and bend down so we are at eye level.
'Im sorry that you werent the one Beth. When we were together, I just wasnt feeling that spark. But with Riley, we just have this connection. You will find someone who will love you and care for you one day. I promise'
She smiles at me.
'I love you James'
I smile.
'I cant say the same but Im just going to say that I like you as my friend'
'That will do'
She leans in and kisses me on the cheek and hugs me.
I smile at her.
'Can we just be friends and leave it at that?' I ask her.
She sighs and nods her head.
'Im proud of you Beth. What you just did wasnt easy, and that just shows that you are a little fighter. Dont give up Beth. You will find the one. It just wasnt me'
'Thank you James'
She lifts her head and looks at Riley. I get up and sit back down.
'I hope you can forgive me Riley for what Ive done and I totally understand if you dont. What I did was awfull and...'
Riley gets up and runs over to her pulling her in for a hug.
'Of course I can. I understand why you did it. As James said, it wasnt an easy thing letting him go like that, but you can be strong and move on'
They smile at eachother.
'Can we be friends?'
Beth smiles.
'Id love to'
'Your not really a cow or a pig. I was just mad after you kissed him and Im sorry'
'Its cool. I just hope you and James can make eachother happy as much as he made me when we were together'
She then stands up and leaves the room. We follow her.
'Well I better go. Ill see you round I guess'
'Wait. Gimme your phone'
'Why?'
'Dont ask questions'
She handed her the phone.
'There. Now you have my number. Im under BFF'
Beth looks at her.
'We can maby catch up tomorrow and the three of us can go shopping'
Beth smiles.
'Id love to. See you tomorrow then'
'Bye!'
She then left.
Riley turnes to me.
'Im so proud of you Riley'
She smiles.
'Well now that thats over, maby we can have a little time to ouselves' she smiled walking closer to me.
'I like the way this is going' I smiled.
'Remember when you wanted me to get her away from you and you said I could do anything I wanted?'
'Yeah'
'Well part of that deal was that I could tease you as we made out'
'Remind me never to make a deal with you again!' I smile.
She laughs.
'So I kept my part by getting her out of your way, now its your turn to keep your part of the deal'
I smile as I lean in and kiss her. I pick her up and she wraps her legs around my waist. I push her against the wall as we make out.
'James honey.... oh. Im sorry. Nevermind!'
We pull away as we see our mom standing in the hall way. I put Riley down. I smile at my mom.
'Yo. Whats up?'
'Well am... Im going into town. Do you want anything?' she asks still kind of shocked after what she saw.
'Naa Im good'
'Oooo. Can you buy some chocolate ice cream. I might have finished it a few days ago' Riley smiles.
'I was wondering what happened to that ice cream. You ate it!'
She smiles at me.
'Well Ill see you two later then. Tell your brother that theres lunch in the fridge for when he comes home. Hes with Emily'
'Of course he is!' I smile.
'Well by now and Ill see you later'
'Bye mom'
I look at Riley.
'Well we have the house to ourselves'
She smiles and kisses me. I pick her up and go into the sitting room and put her on the coutch. I lye on top of her as we deepen the kiss. She moves her hands up and down my back and then down to my legs. I pull away.
'Do you really have to?'
She smiles
'It was part of the deal'
I roll my eyes and reconnect our lips. She puts her hand over my bulge and rests it there. Im going mad inside. Of course shed tease me. Its what she does and I love her for that.
We hear the door opening but dont move. We just want to take this moment in.
'Get a room Jiley!'
I break the kiss.
'Fuck off Kevin!'
I hear him laugh.
'Wheres mom?'
'Town. She said theres lunch in the fridge for you'
'Thanks bro. But seriously. You guyes need to book a room for the day and stay there. Every time I see ye yere making out!'
He smiles and walks off.
I look at Riley who is smiling at me.
'Hes right though. Every time he sees us we are making out'
'Dont you start too!' I smile.
'I like us in a realitionship' she smiles.
'Havent you always liked us in a realitionship?'
'Yeah. I just feel its working really well between us'
'Well it should be. Cause I think its gone pretty serious not to be!'
She laughs.
'Think about it. We just started off as pure strangers to eachother when you came here. Now look at us! Were making out every five minutes!'
I smile.
'Are you happy about it?'
'I couldnt be happier!'
I smile and kiss her. We spend the rest of the day together. Most of it making out but what can I say! Were Jiley! Its what we do!
