Back at work

Michelles POV:
Right now Amanda is going through a circuit warm up with A troupe, while I finish fileing the paperwork. Riley is meant to be comming back today and I cant wait to see her. I hear footsteps walk into the office. I look up and see Riley smilling at me.
'Oh my god! Riley! Your back! How was your trip?' I ask hugging her.
'Hey Michelle. It was great!'
'Hows James?'
'When I first saw him he was a mess. We got into alot of arguments and a huge fight, but we quickly resolved it'
'Does that mean your back together?'
'No. Not yet. I told him I wanted to be with him, but he said that he just needs some time to sort his head out. So we agreed to be just friends. And we are both happy. To be honest Michelle, Im just glad that James is happy again'
'Me too. Now lets say hi to the others' I smile as we leave the office and walk into the studio.
'Hey guyes! Look whoes back!' I say.
They all get up and smile. They run towards her and hug her.
'Hey guyes! Hows things?'
'Good. We've missed you so much!' Amanda smiles.
'Ive missed ye too!'
We chat for a while and they fill Riley in on what has been happening since she left.
'Well Im going to sort some things out in the office and ye can get back to practice' she smiles.
She turns around but stops in her tracks. Alfie is walking towards her with a smile. He hugs her.
'Hey! Ive missed you! How are you?'
'Im good' she weakly smiles.
Everyone is watching them.
'You never replied to any of my calls or texts. Why?'
'I-am-I was just busy. I didnt get a chance'
'Oh. Well its good to have you back' he says leaning in to kiss her. She moves away. He looks at her confused.
'Whats wrong?'
'I-I want to break up' she says.
We all look at eachother and then back at them.
'Your jocking right?'
'No. No Im not. I want us to break up'
'Why?'
'Because I-I love someone else'
'Who?'
'J-James'
They look at eachother.
'Wait a minute. You stayed with him didnt you? Thats why you didnt answer any of my calls or texts!'
'Yes. I did stay with him. And Im glad I did. Cause now I know where my heart truly is, and its with James. Not you. Im sorry Alfie. I have to do this. I cant be with someone that I dont love'
He takes a step back.
'So thats it then? Just like that?'
'Im sorry'
He walks out of studio A. She turns to us and sighs.
'You guyes get to work okay. I want to see a clean routeen by the end of the day' she tells us as she goes into her office. We all get warmed up and start. I just hope shes okay.
Rileys POV:
I have to admitt that that break up wasnt easy, but it was the right thing to do. I love James. I dont love Alfie.
I pull out a bunch of paperwork and go through it. It looks like everything has been done what I needed them to do. At least thats one good thing.
My phone rings. I answer it.
'Hey James'
'Hey Riley. Hows things?'
'Good. Im back at the studio and just starting to go through some things'
'Okay cool. Hows everyone?'
'Good. I broke up with him. I broke up with Alfie'
'How did he take it?'
'Im not too sure really. He seemed upset I think'
'Oh. Hows Piper?'
'I havent spoken to her yet, but Im sure shes fine'
'Tell her I said hi'
'Of course I will. I gotta go. Ill talk to you later. I miss you'
'Okay. I miss you too. Bye!'
'Bye!'
I cut the call. I cant wait to see James at the wedding.
Its going to be awsome!
