Argument

Rileys POV:
Im so nervous to tell the dancers about the trio. I have no idea how Sloane will act.
'Allright guyes! Listen up! We had a chat with Miss Kate and we have made a decision on the trio. The dancers representing the next step ant the qualifiers are...' James says.
We look around the room and I can tell how anxious Sloane looks after what we said to her. But this has to be done. Its whats best for the team.
'Noah, Piper and Richelle'
Everyone claps.
I look at Sloane.
Her expression changes from sadness to suddenly anger.
'What! No! This isnt fair! I performed that trio! Not Richelle! I should be representing the studio at the qualifiers! Not her!'
'Look Sloane. Your dancing was amazing, but it just wasnt what we were looking for. We've been to Regionals, nationals and internationals and we know what the judges are looking for. They want tecnique. Dont get me wrong, your style is very unique and all and its amazing. Its just your laking in tecnique' James tells her.
'I can learn it. Ill be ready by the end of the week. I promise'
I shake my head.
'Im sorry Sloane. We dont have time. Its next week and Richelle is the best for it' I tell her.
'You should listen to her. She knows what shes saying. I guess I just have what you dont. Skill'
'Richelle! Stop!'
Richelle...is a very competitive person. Ahe is always trying to be the best, but sometimes has to be put in her spot.
'Oh yeah? Then why werent you picked to do it at the start?'
'Why werent you picked to be dance captain if you think your so great?'
'Maby you arent as good as you think!'
'Amnt I!'
'Okay thats enough!' James says stepping between them.
'This isnt how you should be behaving! We're a week from the qualifiers. The one competition that will be able to get us to Regionals. Sloane you need to just let Richelle take over and do whats right for the team. Richelle you, Piper and Noah need to go to studio B to come up with some choreo as this one doesnt suit you'
'See! Your not as good as you think!' Sloane shouts.
'Thats enough Sloane!' James tells her.
'I want to see something by the end of the day. Go!'
They rush off to studio B.
'The rest of you take five and then I want you to focus on your routeens for regionals'
They all go to get drinks.
I smile at him.
'What?'
'I think its just amazing how you can just settle an argument like that'
'I have my ways'
'I wish I could do that'
'Hey. Your doing amazing'
I smile and kiss him.
'I love you'
'I love you too'
I just hope Sloane can understand that this was what was best for the team.
