Bangers and Mashups finals

James POV:
We're on our way to the competition and Im super pumped. I cant wait! We go through security and go back stage. Riley gives us a talk.
'Okay boys. Its the finals of the most biggest hip hop competition in the world. This is the moment that youve been preparing for since you got here. Now whos dancing first?'
'West is'
'Right West. You need to have your head in the game. You need to win this round, cause if you loose...we're going home. And I did not come all this way just to see ye loose. I came here to see ye win this damn thing! Whos dancing after?'
'Eldon'
She looks at him. He looks all stressed.
'Eat this' she says handing him a bar of 65% cacoa chocolate.
'Now you need to focus. The dance you do determins if you get into the final round or not so you have to win. You focus on that dance and get it perfect alright?'
He nods.
She turns to me.
'Your the last dancer. You will have to play everything that you got if we are going to win this. You have to focus on your dance on that stage when you start. I know you can do it. Your an amazing dancer'
I smile.
'Allright bring it in guyes. Ive seen ye dance a million times and I know how good ye are. But they dont. And you need to show them that you are the best dancers ever. We're internationals champions for gods sake! We can do this! Right!'
We cheer.
'Right. On three. One. Two. Three. Then Next Step!'
We cheer.
'Im gonna get my seat. Ill be in the front row watching ye. Good luck' she says walking off. I grab her.
'Hey. Thanks for the talk. Your a great coatch' I smile.
She blushes. I chuckel.
'We'll dance our hardest okay?'
'Thats all ye can do. Good luck' she says.
I lean in and kiss her.
'You got this!' she says running off.
I smile and go back to the boys.
'You ready?'
'Yep. Lets do it'
We get called onstage and everyone cheers. Riley and Thalia are in the front row.
West starts his dance and finishes.
The winner is announced.
'The Next Step!'
Eldon takes his turn and finishes.

Then its my turn. I have to win two out of the three dances to win this, and to be honest Im not sure if I can. We're up against Faogo Faogo and they have won this competition twice. If I mess up...we're out.
The hostess speaks.
'You have five minutes to prepare for this dance off and then we'll start!'
Everyone claps. I turn to them.
'Guyes I cant do this'
'What do you mean you cant do this?'
'They've won this competition twice. If I mess up we loose'
'Man youll be fine. You just need to focus'
'Allright dancers! Lets do this!'
The other team go first and they are really good. How Im going to top that I have no idea. I run and do a flip and a few other move. Just as Im about to pull off my last move, my foot slips and I fall. I know that we've lost that round because of it.
'Faogo Faogo!'
'Damn it!' I say going back to the boys.
'Okay man. Relax. Its fine. These things happen. You still have two chances. You got this bro' West says.
I go back on stage and do my dance. This time I get it perfect.
'The Next Step!'
I high five the boys.
'Well done man'
'Now you just have to win this'
One of the dancers that I was against comes up to me.
'Hey. You think your moves are so good? You aint seen nothing. And your girlfriend over there... she only like you cause your a dancer'
I push him.
'You keep your mouth shut about her'
'Come on then. You think your so tough?' he says pushing me back.
I push him again. Eldon and West pulls me back from him.
'Cant wait to see you loose' he says and spits on me. He walks back over to his group.
'Dont let him get to you bro'
'Did you hear what he said about Riley!'
'Yeah. But that was because he wants to get into your head so youll loose'
Riley runs over to me.
'James! What the hell was that all about!'
I look at her.
'I love you Riley'
She looks at me confused.
'Yes. I know. But your not answering my question'
I put my head down.
'James? What did he say?'
'Th-that you only want to be with me cause Im a dancer'
'That isnt true! I want to be with you cause I love you! Now listen to me. Just shut out what he said to you. You need to win this round to win the competition okay? Just focus. I love you James and I know you can do this. I believe in you. Just like I always have. Now get out there and show them what a real Torjman is made out of and what he can really do!'
I smile at her.
'Now go and win this thing!' she smiles.
I smash my lips against hers.
'You got this James'
I smile at her her and start the dance.
I know that I can win this and I will. If Riley believes in me then Im going to show her that I can win this. Im going to win this for her. If it wasnt for her, Id be totally lost, and now that shes here with me, Im going to show her that she didnt come all this way for nothing. When I dance, I feel like anything is possible. But when I dance for Riley, I know everything is possible. And I know that Im going to win this thing.
When both of us have finished the dance, we wait for the results.
'The winner of the Bangers and Mashups is...'
I look at Riley who give me a hopefull smile.
'The Next Step!'
I dont believe it! We won! We are the best hip hop dancers in the world! Im given the trophy as Riley runs towards me.
'Jaaaamess! You won! You won! You won!' she squeels jumping into my arms.
I smile at her. I look at the guy who confronted me earlier. I walk over to him.
'Good play man'
He looks at me.
'But not good enough'
He starts to walk off.
'Oh yeah. And just so you know...my girlfriend is with me because she loves me. And to be honest I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with you. But well done' I say putting my hand out. He just walks off. I laugh to myself.
Riley runs up behind me.
'What are you just standing there for! We have to celebrate!' she smiles while pulling me away. I laugh.
Upbeat music starts to play and we dance around the place. Riley looks at me and pulls me in for a kiss. I pull her close to me. I smile at her.
Im so glad that we won.
This has been an amazing experience.
